@Robocod first of all who brought up what activison chose to do ? Not me
Second Microsoft release their games day one on console /TV/phone /pc/tablet etc etc. If you want to play say spider man 2 ....oh console only ( or wait 2 years for pc ) so yes there are alot of choices that don't cost whatever a ps5 costs nowadays but anyone who doesn't own a Xbox console can still play it so yes adding more players , and is there a law saying someone who owns a ps5 can't obtain any of the above to play the acti games ? No but at least they have a choice to what suits Thier budget ...buy Sony no buy a expensive console and that's fine hey ? and as for defending corporations , like Sony give a crap if Thier players have spyro in the future ? Ha all they care about is cod money , and as for microsoft didn't offer acti games how do you know what were u there in the room ? No please show me one interview jym Ryan has done saying he wants acti games ? None they are all about cod

Spider man would b a big pull for Microsoft ( depending on when sony's contract ends of course ) , and if Disney decide to go the bid route microsoft could afford it and with IPS there isn't going to be all this fuss about monopoly's

@TommyNL that's why there is legal contracts , any contract saying starfield wont be exclusive ? He did say it would be on a case by case basis , please show me any promise he made ? and if you think that they could mess up a contract and not honor it. Do you think Sony lawyers are that stupid ?

And no one even knows of cod will played by anyone on 11 years ,would anyone guessed that fortnight would b as big as it is now before it came out ,? Things can change a lot in 10 years for a game

@XenonKnight yes I agree ,I couldn't work out what their case actually was and why it was brought , it was basically the whole trial to get microsoft to say cod will stay on ps which they said they would anyway and had even offered the legal binding contact before any of it

It's not like if u own a ps 5 u can't play other consoles , if they want to they can nothing stopping them apart from tribal bs gamer wars

@Total_Weirdo I enjoyed payday 2 ,it's more technical in how you plan it takes alot of pre thought and being with some gd friends helps a lot ,the ai was as dumb as a bag of bricks when I last played it

@XenonKnight no it makes zero sense , why take a game that has millions of players that buy it on ps and tell em no , if they did that only a small percentage would move to Xbox it's not worth the money they would lose , 10 years is along time by that time cod could b just a distant memory for players on any console

And as for starfield yes they paid for it why not have it as exclusive ? Just like Sony paid for the game rights to spiderman and made it exclusive ,it's gd business on both sides and makes loads of money

But with cod it's entrenched for some ps users ( and that's not a dig ppl play what they enjoy I'm happy for em ) I myself don't like that multiplayer cod I do like the single player part

Try getting FACTS RIGHT if that was said in the email it was 2019 and nothing was being discussed about activison back then so buying activison isn't about that , the activison buy is about the mobile ( Google/apple ) ,mobile acti sales dwarf consoles sales , come next year when mobiles open up to other stores it's gonna b a massive money maker , imagine the let's say 30% that apple /Google making now off acti stuff . @FuzzieGinge88 Sony does not own spider man they just rent the rights to create games for now , films of spider man is another matter they do own the film rights but marvel have a huge say, marvel own the rights to spider man fully on everything apart from movie

@dschons you can play early with discs with Xbox , also with digital if you switch regions on the Xbox ,eg new Zealand
