Re: Talking Point: Can PS5, PC Shooter Concord Be Saved?

Midovich

As much as I want to be optimistic about 'Concord,' Sony's approach to handling PC players is worrying. Unlike PlayStation users, who are often left with no choice but to adapt, PC gamers have countless alternatives. Helldivers 2 showed that even a promising game with huge potential and "crafted with passion" can be mishandled. Sony's track record with live services isn't reassuring, especially when smaller publishers continue to support older ps3 titles, meanwhile Sony is pulling the plug on anything older than few years old. If Sony can't maintain reliability, I wonder how they would
convince PC players to invest in their ecosystem.

Re: Poll: Are You Playing the Concord Open Beta?

The game looks visually appealing but doesn’t bring anything particularly new/unique to the table. The $40 price tag feels a bit too much, especially when you consider how many free-to-play options are out there with similar gameplay. Just my two cents, but I wouldn't be surprised if we see it as a PS Plus Essential freebie in a few months

Re: Poll: What Is Your Preferred Game Length?

Instead of focusing on how long a game should be, studios should work on their gaming loop, if you couple that with a great story whether it's 5 hours long (11-11 memories retold for the sake of an example) or +100 hours (long live The Witcher), gamers will keep playing... this poll is absurd otherwise.
