Good news for people that haven't played it yet. Personally, though, I'll stick with the patched PS4 version. It already looked bonkers and runs at 60fps on PS5.
I'm all about progress. If the game releases only on PS5/XSX, good stuff. But I don't mind a downgraded version for PS4. I have a Pro so it should be okay-ish for me, hopefully.
I mean, if it means that I don't need to dish out a hefty 650$ (I'm in Europe) for a new system plus the game itself, I'm all in!
Porting something from ARM to x86 takes more than an official support of UE4 on the Switch.
They had to recreate CPU instructions to replicate the game logic, redo GPU draw calls, and account for different power profiles (7 to 18 Watts on the Switch). This port is incredible. It is running on vintage mobile hardware.
My only gripe is that I wish the game had a tad higher mobile resolution.
Have it physically on the Switch. Looks great on the platform, especially when you consider the ARM-based CPU/GPU. But porting the same ARM-optimized game to the PS4, kinda lame Square.
It will max out at 720p (or maybe 1080p) on the PS4 and all those downgraded textures, reduced character geometry, not to mention pop-up will only magnify the Switches limitations. A hard pass for me.

Re: People Are Beginning to Play Around with PS5's Remote Play Handheld
Considering the price, I hope it has great image quality and latency. Otherwise, I'll just stick to PS Play.
