Re: $130 Version of Star Wars Outlaws Under Fire as Ubisoft Prices Increase

@Shakybeeves I think this is the point of the article. It's a season pass as in "blood and wine" additional content. Not Fortnite get a new pickaxe skin every couple of hours.
The quality of the pass is still to be seen admittedly but the general lexicon of gaming has shifted and I don't think Ubisoft have kept up. Bring back the word "expansion" in my opinion. That's the content I'd more likely pay money for

Re: Sony Remains Silent on Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade PS Plus Issues

Update: Turns out it may have been Sony fixing it. But still glad we got it sorted in the end.

If it helps I had the same problem as described on the article, but have solved it.
I bought the ps4 version of FFVII remake on day 1 digitally.
I then downloaded the ps5 upgrade in 2021.
When the FFVII Intergrade version was showing as "Learn More" I installed the PS5 FFVII (the 2021 upgrade version).
After doing so I then went to Restore Licenses in options.

Once I did this when I went back to the FFVII Intergrade version it now allowed me to download (also showing a PS+ icon next to it to confirm its from the PS+ Extra subscription).
It also appears to have recognised my currently installed main PS5 FFVII game and has only downloaded the additional INTERmission DLC.

Re: PS Plus Extra, Premium Games for July 2022 Available to Download Now

Pitcher-T

@GoodGame it's a bit convoluted to say the least. It's a PlayStation plus game but a plus "extra' game not a "monthly" game so doesn't appear in the same place.
Also the fact you don't keep the "extra" tier games once they rotate out (I do understand why they rotate out by the way) makes it a bit confused what is in your library or not. Maybe a "rented" label would be more applicable to make it clear.

I don't know, is it just me or is it a bit more of a faff navigating the catalogue than it feels like it should be?

Re: Reminder: Play the Resident Evil Village Castle Demo This Weekend

Pitcher-T

I do get that it's not convenient but I for one loved the centralising of the media for this.
I was pouring over the YouTube content Sunday night to see what everyone thought about it and it was great. It was like a mini Resi 8 event, and I'm sure I'll be doing the same this Sunday evening if I get chance.
I get that you could still get that with an unrestricted demo but it's much less likely in my opinion.
Maybe they just don't see the conversion rates from demo to sales like there used to be, and it's more related to TV/social media ads?
