Re: In the UK, PS5 Pro Has Already Completely Sold Out

SaucyBrotato

Their stock allocation system is absolute garbage. I had a controller in my basket, and was going through check out as normal; did the payment approval on my banking app, and when the page reloaded, the controllers were sold out even though I was going through check out. They hadn't even reserved the one I was literally buying. So disappointed. I'm not giving scalpers my money though.

Re: Rumour: Ghost of Tsushima PC Port May Finally Be Unmasked Soon

SaucyBrotato

As a PS5er and a PC Master Race-er, I can't wait to see this on PC and I am excited for PC players to experience this for the first time. The game was an absolute masterpiece on console and graphically one of the most visually impressive games I'd ever seen on PS4 at the time with it's art style; I can only imagine how gorgeous this will look on a decent PC rig in 4K.

Re: Final Fantasy VII Remake Hard Mode Guide: Help, Tips, and Essential Advice for Beating Hard Mode

SaucyBrotato

'In a lot of RPGs, you tend to have one character focus on healing the party and leave it at that. But in Final Fantasy VII Remake's hard mode, you're going to want to split the bill, so to speak. Because there's no way to restore MP outside of battle (items are forbidden in hard mode, and rest spots only recover HP), taking a lot of damage in a single fight can lead to disaster.'

@ShogunRok Question: How does one replenish MP if the use of items is barred, and rest points don't recover MP? Levelling up? Resting at Inns etc?

Re: Full-Blown Gothic Remake Announced for PS5

SaucyBrotato

@Gmork___ Gothic 4, or Arcania as it was called was on PS3 I think, and certainly some of the spiritial successors have been on console like Risen have as well, so you probably remember those. Gothic 1-3 was PC only. if you have a laptop, they mostly run on a potato, go play them!

Re: Full-Blown Gothic Remake Announced for PS5

SaucyBrotato

@Gmork___ Not weird at all, it really depends on your gaming history, and age to be honest. I'm nearing 40, and spent most of my life playing on PC, mostly RPGs. Gothic was a big deal when it released 19 years ago, but it would be easy enough to not know the brand if you're primarily a console gamer (or younger than 25!)

Re: Looks Like PC Players Really, Really Want to Play Ghost of Tsushima

SaucyBrotato

Lul. I'm a PC Master Race and would welcome this game on PC. That being said, I own a PS4, and will buy it on there and play the balls out of it.
Also, these comments smh. Don't pretend that console master race attitude is any better than PC master race attitude. Some of these comments are so ironic it is unreal.
Either way, GIEF GAME NOW, WE CAN'T WAIT!!

Re: Talking Point: Is the PS4's Final Year of Relevance in Danger of Becoming Overhyped?

SaucyBrotato

There's a lot of good titles coming out next year, but we have already seen a number of key projects be delayed, even if for a few months. As PS5 becomes closer, I do wonder how many of the last-of-gen titles due next year will find themselves delayed and end up inevitably on PS5 as launch titles, something which PS4 was a bit dry for (aside from everyone's GOTY Knack of course!)

Re: Poll: Are You Happy With Your PS Plus Games for October 2019?

SaucyBrotato

For me, poor month. I'm not going to whinge about it though, but my reasoning is I already own TLOU on disc (which I actually haven't played so in hindsight, from an MP trophy perspective, it should be nice and active - wooo), and living in the UK I've never had any exposure to baseball so no inclination to play it MLB (I wouldn't have a clue what to do lol).

Re: ANTHEM Comes to EA Access on PS4 Today

SaucyBrotato

I'm playing Anthem right now as I bought it for a tenner. Have to say, thoroughly enjoying it. Looks gorgeous on PS4 Pro, plays well, gunplay is sweet, voice work is superb.

Haven't encountered any bugs, multiplayer match-ups are quick.

I was in the camp of watching it/playing beta and going noooo, POS never buying reeeeeeee. Then I took a chance because it's allegedly all been ironed out, and I'm glad I did. Endgame might be lacking from my understanding, but if you have EA Access, why not give it a go?

Re: Days Gone Gets New Game Plus and More Difficulty Modes in Next Week's Update

SaucyBrotato

@leucocyte This is precisely the reason why I have parked this game, because I am sick of it. I've harped on about this before, but as someone in the minority who still has standard ADSL broadband because of the area I live in, getting 12-18GB patches every damn week has put me off playing the game.

As a side note, this addition of extra difficulties is just the laziest content I have seen in a long time. I'd argue that it isn't even content, it's just yet another mode for the same thing for the sake of another trophy. Not for me. Unless this spate of enormous updates ceases, I will likely never pick this game up again.

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Multiplayer Will Be Coming After Launch, Confirms CD Projekt RED

SaucyBrotato

I think I need to see what this multiplayer will look like first before I get excited. I've never been a fan of competitive multiplayer, and if it's stuff like TDM or the likes, I probably won't bother.

If, on the other hand, it's multiplayer, story-driven content where you have to work together to do stuff, I am all for that.

I just hope that CDPR don't jump on the BR bandwagon and release a Cyberpunk BR mode..

Re: Sigh! Uncharted Movie Loses Its Director Again

SaucyBrotato

Ditch Holland and get Nathan Fillion involved to play Drake, albeit a slightly older one. He's the perfect fit for Drake, and the live action Uncharted short he did was just so on point, I can't see anyone else playing Nate.

Hell, Fillion I think had something to do with the production of the short, so he knows what's needed to make I movie I would suggest.
