Re: PS5 Unboxings Reveal the Hardware in the Flesh

SteelToeCowboy

Coming from a person who has only ever owned Sony consoles (me) I am going Xbox this gen. Microsoft is making all the right moves this time and they now have more studios then Sony they have 43 new exclusives coming out to Xbox in the next couple years. I’ve never owned a Xbox but this gen Sony has made way too many mistakes this gen and I can’t make excuses for them, I hope they fix those mistakes but I’m glad Xbox is listening and doing the right stuff competition does wonders for us gamers

@Kidfunkadelic83 Sony’s exclusives is kind of ify right now since a couple months ago Sony came out on Twitter and said they are looking into being more of their games to other platforms so if they actually go along with that they will lose more exclusives. Since Microsoft has bought Bethesda Spencer came out and indirectly said that they will be keeping Bethesda games to Microsoft platforms only once Bethesda’s is done making the games for they have now for Sony so that would mean games like Doom, fallout etc won’t be on ps5 if spencer goes along with that and Microsoft is still buying more studios and spencer came out and said they have 43 new exclusive games coming to Xbox between now and a couple years so they have way more studios then Sony now it just will take time for these studios to make games

Re: Poll: Would You Still Pay for PS Plus if Online Multiplayer Was Free Elsewhere?

They should focus on fixing their store so it doesn’t freeze and crash your system and they should fix the system so it doesn’t lag out in the home screen and don’t get me started on the lack of backwards compatibility. Ps Now was suppose to have PS1 games and PS2 but unfortunately we only got a handful of PS2 and none for PS1 and it’s lagging when you stream and I have fiber internet when I have 900 down and like 200-300 upload and it’s lagging there’s a issue and now it’s worse since they throttled down the internet for the system due to the pandemic. They turn around and say oh you will have your BC on the cloud yup there’s gonna be more money to spend on games you already own

Re: PSN Download Speeds Are Starting to Slow for Some PS4 Users

SteelToeCowboy

Download speeds are not too bad for me but the PSN is another story because where I'm at there is issues with the PS network crashing and not being able to connect because so many people are on at the same time there is a site on google that shows a live map of PSN outages and my area is all red but Sony keeps saying it's people's ISP even though when you do a speed test and it passes the IP and internet and then freezes on psn server saying checking. Sony needs to come out publicly and say there is an issue and they are fixing it but nope go to their site and they say all servers are good so they are blatantly lying

You can change the language in game. Besides there are a few things about the game that are getting on my nerves like when you go to talk to a NPC sometimes it takes them 5min to turn around to start talking to you or like Cloud has just squeezed through a opening and has to do his stop animation for 15 sec before you can move or like how some enemies sink into walls or boxes etc and you cant touch them or how your party members get in your way all the time its a good game but aggravating at the same time.

Re: Could PSN Be Restricted to Save Internet Bandwidth?

SteelToeCowboy

@Morzy if crazy noise your talking about is how loud it gets then no. The Pro gets hot really hot actually so that fan has to work overtime to get it cooled down. If you haven't i would take the case off and clear out the dust in there and that will help out alot in cooling it down and make it not so loud. It's really easy to do there are YouTube videos to help

Re: PS5's Backwards Compatibility with PS4 Has Fans Baffled

SteelToeCowboy

@carlos82 basically Microsoft does their BC by software and Sony is doing it by hardware so Sony has to either put each console's chip in the system to do that which is very expensive or they have to trick the system to think its that certain console so i would count on having BC with Sony so I think it's time for me to go to Microsoft

Re: PS5's Backwards Compatibility with PS4 Has Fans Baffled

SteelToeCowboy

Ya I'm leaning towards Microsoft now. This whole we are going to add more as time goes on is all bs they said they said thing with PS Now when they announced it saying ps1, 2, 3 and 4 would be on there and they would add more as time goes on and well all we got was a couple PS2 games and no more added, not one game from PS1. I got over 250 digital copies on my PS4 pro and thats not counting PS Now and your telling me some of my 250+ games i will be able to play on PS5? That is just a waste of money consoles don't last forever so eventually those games I bought will be garbage. Unless Sony says all games that were on PS4 are playable I'm going to xbox, atleast they can carry your games over

Re: Poll: How Much Does PS5 Backwards Compatibility Matter to You?

SteelToeCowboy

To me I'm just tired of when a new sony console comes out all the games i bought from the last one are basically garbage after that. These consoles can only last for so long then when all of them are done your games are worthless after that so basically your just wasting money. Ps Now had a good idea with bring all the previous games onto there but theres no PS1 games on there like Sony said and there is only a handful of PS2 games on there and they are not adding anymore but if you buy a Xbox all previous consoles work on the Xbox one and soon Xbox Series X. I've never owned a Xbox but it is definitely looking like the better option for the next gen. Sony isn't really putting as much effort into their consoles like they should.
