@carlos82 Look, I understand if YOU would be fine with it, and I understand MOST people won't be bothered. But I would also understand if SOME people would not be too happy about it. For the explanation of that last sentence, I advise you to re-read my other comments.
@HotGoomba Nice to have the option indeed, but like in my case, I know I would never ever use it. I dislike physical, it's less practical and for me personally the price differences don't really matter.
Anyway I wasn't advocating for people to complain, just bringing some nuance that a very small percentage of people not being happy with this solution isn't as crazy as some might make it out to be. I would understand those people.
@Just_2_milky I really dislike the look of the disc version, so if someone is already or was planning to be fully digital I can understand if someone doesn't really want the disc version. If you know for certain you will literally never ever use it, then all you'd be getting now is a slightly uglier PS5. I understand the sentiment of your comment, but at the same time I also disagree a little. The few that would be bothered by it would have a justifiable reason to not be completely happy.
I understand the appeal, and can't deny some of the massive, massive hits, but I just do not care about any of the free to play games at all. It's usually multiplayer focused which I do not care for, and always such a heavy emphasis on the whole cosmetics ecosystem which I also do not care about. So my reaction to this news: meh.
@thefourfoldroot The PS5 is my first ever PS (was always more a hardcore PC gamer), so had Plus since November only. For me it would be really illogical to still get the "old" PSVR, I am much better off waiting for the new one (no matter how long that will still take). Was just wondering/hoping this game would have some kind of non-VR option, as I had heard before how good of a title it is.
@thefourfoldroot Ah that kinda sucks then for me, I don't have PSVR but would love to play this. Maybe once the new one gets released I can still play this.
Got my refund, didn't pay attention to it since then. Might get it again at some point in the future when the worst issues have been patched, and if it's on sale.
Seems really awesome, but will get this for Switch instead, just seems way more fitting for that system and more the type of game I'd play on the go and not on my TV.
Fantastic blog article! Loved to listen to all the WIP versions and read his thought process. The end result is so satisfying, absolute banger of a track and the rest of the OST as well.
@theMEGAniggle It is, that guy is talking absolute nonsense. Must have some weird personal grudge, or some isolated experiences that are related just to him, or I have no idea. But what he is saying is just simply straight up not true. I don't even know where to begin, but it's probably best to not closely analyze the ramblings of someone like that.
@get2sammyb The same could have been said about Control, yet here we are . Maybe wishful thinking, but I hope it will be included in the March PS Plus offering.
I don't really need it to be competitive, as I never play multiplayer. But I would definitely want it to assign one of them to run/sprint in many singe-player games. I absolutely HATE when the only button left to activate sprint is pressing the left stick (L3), it really strains my hand over time in games where you want to sprint a lot and there is just no other button that you can swap it with that makes sense.
Battlefield 2 was by far the one I've played most, and enjoyed the most. I am hoping for a return to that era (early 2000s), with maps more in the style of BF2.
@JamieO We were the family that the whole neighbourhood came to to play games. I remember our living room being full of like 10 kids or more (and sometimes a dad or two), all watching while someone played things like Dungeon Master, Bubble Bobble, Turrican, King's Quest, Super Cars II, Hostages, Nebulous, Buggy Boy, Lemmings, Rainbow Islands, Sensible Soccer, Double Dragon, Populous, Cannon Fodder, Mega Lo Mania and so so so much more...
Surprisingly there never really were fights about whose turn it was to play, there was a natural order to it and many simply enjoyed to watch instead of playing themselves. While typing this out I realize this was basically an IRL version of Twitch.

Re: PS5 Digital Edition Revision Sheds 300 Grams, Revises Base Screw
I have to say the first 5 comments are all bangers, can't choose which one is best. Good job to all!
Re: Mini Review: The Procession to Calvary (PS4) - Absurd Point and Click Adventure Is Funny and Brilliantly Unique
@ShogunRok Does it have any shrubberies?
Re: Walmart Upgrades Some PS5 Digital Edition Orders to Blu-ray Model
@naruball I didn’t say it is a big issue and not a first world problem or any of those things either, I agree with you.

@carlos82 So you clearly disregarded every point I made. Good on you, carry on. Please apply more hyperbole in your next reply.

So does Astro Bot Rescue Mission only work if you have a VR set?
Re: Life Is Strange: True Colors Confirmed for PS5 and PS4, Out This September
I don't really get what this game is honestly, never played the previous ones. It's like a visual novel, click-and-point adventure type of thing?
Re: PS5 Console Exclusive Project Athia Named Forspoken, Launching in 2022
I honestly prefer Project Athia (or just Athia) over Forspoken.

I know it takes place in a fracking facility, but still, what a horrible sounding name Fracked is.
Re: Looks Like Indie Hit Katana ZERO Will Launch on PS4
Played it on Switch and loved it so much. Really can't wait for the inevitable DLC and/or sequel.

Re: Destruction AllStars' On-Foot Gameplay Has Lots of Hidden Techniques the Game Doesn't Tell You
I just find the entire on foot aspect of the game totally pointless. I want to play this game just to drive (and wreck) the cars, not to run around.

Re: Turrican Flashback (PS4) - Four Turrican Thrills in One No-Frills Package
Played the first two a lot on the family Atari ST, good times. Might pick this up in a future sale for nostalgia's sake.
