Re: Guerrilla: Cross-Gen Has Not Limited Horizon Forbidden West in Any Way

@thefourfoldroot Exactly. It makes no sense to use part of your frame budget on rendering individual moss threads what so ever. The only reason they would do that is because the PS5 is not pushed to its limit with the rest of the scene, and this would be easy and cool to try. If it was not limited by PS4, some of the scenarios should, would, and could be completely different from what we are used to. Like amazing flight combat scenes for example.

I'm really not against a PS4 version honestly. And I fully respect it will take another few years before we see the full potential of PS5. But to say there hasn't been compromises is just ... Well wrong.

That said. I'm sure it's gonna be a really good game, and I look forward to it

Re: PS Plus Video Pass Trailer Showcases Perk for Polish Members

What Sony is testing here is whether or not to create a product alike Amazon Prime I think. If they could make this product as a competitor to Netflix, many people will probably start using it since they already have it in PS+. That alone wouldn't make money for Sony, but many people would start to talk about in general. This could make non-gamers wanna check it out. Over time, they could grow it quite huge outside of their SIE market ranking in billions. We would have movie service, free games, maybe psnow too, for maybe $10 a month in the future. And non-gamers would pay $10 just for the video service

Re: There's a New Software Update for PS5's DualSense Controllers, Too

Honestly, for me Game Pass seems overhyped and I think PS+ is the perfect middle ground. I have both consoles, but I never payed for Game Pass after the first year. It is a lot of money for a bunch of old or just uninteresting games (to me at least).

PS+ I have had always. It is a mixed bag some months, but for the money we get so many actually great games.

I hope they don't make any changes, because 2-3 games per month is already more than I can play through, and if they change it, I fear they will combine PSNow and PS+ and make it more expensive.
I prefer just PS+.

Re: Poll: Which Bethesda Franchise Will PS5 Miss the Most?

If I ever want to play another Bethesda game, I guess I will have to sign up for Game Pass for PC for a month and play it. I'm fine with that. I would have preferred playing it on PS5 but I don't blame Microsoft. They are just playing the game too. And at least they are not locking it behind an Xbox purchase, because I am not going to spend money on both a PS5, Xbox SX, and PC.
I do hope Elder Scrolls can get back to its former glory, but I do also think it will take a few more flops before Microsoft Studios get to the level of Sony story-telling. Sony do have 100 years of experience in the movie and TV industry. Something to catch up to.
