Yeah, sorry, poor review to be honest. Just compare it to ACG's to see how much detail, depth and writing flair it's lacking. I'll definitely be picking up the game.

God of War is a very worthy winner, with HZD second in my opinion.

GoW is a game where you buy a new TV and get your mates round to show them how awesome it looks. My wife came in and thought I was watching the next episode of Vikings without her.

I don't care about the cosmetics at all so this is still a day 1 for me. However, are you saying the fatalities are behind a grind wall? If so, that's cack.

GOW, HZD and Nier Automata are head and shoulders above everything else this generation. All beautiful.

@themcnoisy don't agree with that I'm afraid. Inventory management and teamwork is a major part of the game e.g. swapping ammo, tagging ammo for teammates. It adds a depth that would be missed. I might have the Devotion with the awesome hopper.....but I can't find any energy ammo so should I ditch it?! No! I'll tell me teammates to keep a close look out for energy ammo, because if we find a bunch, well, GG we win 😘

Slightly addicted to Apex so far, and I've never played a BR game before. Actually signed up to PS+ for it.

When Red Dead 2 is second in multiplayer, you have to question your life and just go back to playing Rainbow Six Rogue Spear via 56k.

Reading this made me miss HZD - genuinely the only open world game I've ever finished. Loved it all.

Loved RDR2, but it felt just a little too much like a chore to play.

GoW is the most I've enjoyed a videogame since Horizon. Almost perfect, definite GOTY for me.

@Scobby2 tempted to give it a go off the back of that. I haven't tried an FPS games on PSVR yet because I seem very prone to motion sickness (Wipeout destroys me on the first lap) but might give this a go and see how I get on.

Just to echo somebody else's thoughts higher up - this is the only game my wife has ever shown any interest in playing. She loves it. It's like that arcade dancemat game on steroids. Christmas Day is gonna be nuts.

I'm new to VR and so far I only have this and AstroBot. To say I've been blown away is an understatement. The future is finally here!!!

Also, get this and you can cancel your gym membership and never go back to that horrible place again.

What a joke. If a small indie dev released this as their first foray into the gaming world it would probably get mocked! That this is a full price "AAA" release is ab absolute farse. I'm honestly quite a level headed guy, but I would be clambering to get a refund if I'd bought this.

Good. I'm glad at this. Whilst several other major devs are releasing jaw dropping, emotional games that push boundaries on all levels, Bethesda churn out this mutated fart. I hope it fails.

Whilst I adored it, I think I'm done for now. Don't tend to replay games.

I'm glad it came out as it did. He certainly seemed a bit weathered, but I think an outright chubby Kratos would have been a bit unbelievable. Dudes a machine of hard discipline.

@Kai_ for some reason I really, really disliked Prey. I think how much they initially screwed up performance and the PS4 Pro support got is off on the wrong foot. I only ever played a couple of hours then got bored. I'm gonna give it another go I think.

I like the idea of not being able to summon the motorbike. Would be cool if you can't even see it on the minimap. Could go weeks without being able to find it then suddenly stumble into it whilst searching for somewhere to take a dump.

Only issue I've had was magically boating through a rock wall and getting stuck. Managed to turn round and get back out though.

Gotta be honest, since buying a Switch my PS4 Pro hasn't had a look in. But I think this might be the game to bring me back! Fluid, responsive gameplay? Vibrant, feel-good visuals? Yes please!

@Yowza Yeah not gonna lie, I've been disappointed with mine overall. And that's with a good 4K TV. Too many games either just full on don't support it, or the performance still feels crap with minimal visual gain.

I've heard a rumour that to get the Platinum you have to send Konami your card details, pics of your wife, and the head of a baby koala bear.

Not sure I believe it though.
