Re: Guide: All Free EA Access Games Available on PS4

That list is incomplete, here's the full list:
https://www.ea.com/ea-access/games#playstation-4-only
The service includes most EA games released on PS4 up to date, minus very recent releases like FIFA 20.

Keep in mind, if you have an Xbox One, the service is even better there as it includes some Xbox 360 games like the Dead Space trilogy; these last-gen games are not available on the PS4 subscription for obvious reasons.

It's actually quite the contrary for me. Gameplay-wise the game dumbs down A LOT when you get OP with almost unlimited stamina, the 1-hit-kill shotgun with 60 bullets, the "unbreakable" axe-bat (since you can repair it easily) and the dozens of grenades, mines and molotovs. At that point you just become SuperDeek and nothing is a threat anymore, not even the hordes that can easily be spammed with explosives, traps and whatnot. I liked it WAY more at the start when you just had one lame handgun, one AK47 with 30 bullets and a wooden stick to defend yourself, the game felt like a very unique open world survival horror and like nothing I had experienced before, I had to be careful since a small horde of 4-5 Freakers would kill me quickly. I'm playing in the normal difficulty so I don't know if a harder diff may spice it a bit more.

What I loved the most was the world, the post-apocalyptic world is incredible and the devs got the exploration VERY right: finding an abandoned house in the middle of nowhere, exploring it and finding a body trapped in the bathroom with a shotgun and supplies, telling an implicit story of some poor soul that sheltered himself from the tragedy to no avail.

Re: Sony Reportedly Bans PSN Account Over Cultural Misunderstanding

This is just the tip of the iceberg on Sony's recent behaviour/policy. A couple weeks ago a couple thousand (yes, thousand) PSN accounts were banned because of an suppossed "error": famous youtubers gave away codes for games during a live stream, thousands of people watching the stream tried all at the same time to claim the codes and the store algorithms detected it as an "attack" action and all the accounts were IMMEDIATELY and PERMANENTLY banned.

This event didn't reached major media press because it happened mostly on latin america (the youtubers involved were WillyRex and The Gregf, they are famous spanish/hispanic youtubers). Most of the people affected still haven't got their accounts back, weeks of contact with Sony support have been futile and they insist all those people violated their terms of use and they are not retuning those accounts. A close friend of mine lost his account like this and he tells me it's banned forever, Sony wont give it back no matter how much he contacts them.

Re: Hands On: Star Wars Battlefront 2 Is a Clumsy, Complicated Sequel

Entirely your personal opinion, for me this game is severely improved over the first one: no more token pick ups (terrible idea that was), no more ultra-powered heroes, no more jetpacks! The gunplay is spot on, the new Battle Points IMO is (near) perfect, now I can just play as I want, PTFO or Kills, gather BPs and spawn in the vechile/hero I want, rewarding the players that act the most. The crates being pay-to-win? That's a myth, more of an automatic reaction to the crate concept, if you are bad at the game no amount of cards will make you good, having a couple seconds lees cooldown is not game-changing.
