@Gilvin "although if your starting pitcher is Ohtani then that one will do."
Given he's the cover athlete this year and the most hyped player in baseball right now, I bet that trophy was actually designed to make players use him for it.
@Korgon For sure. With all of Cold Steel at home on the PS4/5 and Crossbell + plus spinoff titles on the way, it would be heaven for the Liberl arc to land on modern consoles.
@Adaminoregon Precisely. Every time anyone expresses disappointment about anything the entitlement posters come along and misuse that word to death. Entitlement is the belief that you are inherently owed special treatment and privileges.
If you are a customer paying for a service and expressing dissatisfaction with the service, you can't by definition be acting entitled because you actually are owed a certain standard of treatment and privileges by the one who tenders the price for the service.
On topic though, it's a bit underwhelming but I'm interested in giving Slay the Spire a shot.
@RubyCarbuncle Out of curiosity, have you managed to get one for yourself? I feel like that mentality would add to the difficulty level of getting one.
I was fortunate enough to find an honest dude on Kijiji (Canada's Craigslist) who was selling his PS5, extra controller and headset for under retail and it was literally spotless. I know it sounds funny getting excited about used goods being under retail when that should be expected, but it was all in such immaculate condition that it felt like buying everything new, just that someone else took it out of the box for me.
If not for honest used sellers I would still not have one.
Not speaking about Greg, Colin Moriarty, or anybody else whose real name is tied to them, but some of these accounts calling themselves insiders are anonymous like Millie A and yet still don't post details about things they claim to know. What possible repercussions exist for them when they are already anonymous?
I pray Schreier and Greg are right this time because the whole "insider leaks" things is already out of control with all these fakers who are drip feeding ambiguity and riding off one lucky shot in the dark forever afterwards. If they are wrong, it would be fantastic if no news site publishes another rumor-hype article again, but that's too much wishful thinking.
@Enigk I really hope they try something less ambitious this time. The gimmick with CP2077 was "It's way bigger than W3" and they couldn't deliver on the hype they created. If they would just try to make something special that is within reason rather than creating the new greatest game ever each time, they would meet deadlines and probably satisfy more customers that way. There is enough quality games out there that we don't need a 150+ hr masterpiece every time from them.
Great news. I hope they can make something even better than their past work using Unreal Engine. RedEngine served its purpose but W3 and CP2077 both suffered some horrifying graphical glitches every now and then and I wonder if that was because of the engine since the problems were present in both games.
