@Mega-Gazz Ouch! Once you're in a rut it's really hard to get out haha.

Been going through the first Crash and it is hard, not as hard as Donkey Kong Country but still pretty tough.
I see on the back of the box on the Activision terms of use message there is a bit saying that there could be potential dlc.

Been going through Crash 2, almost done with it in fact, but wow, it feels so different.
Force of habit has been my downfall. I keep trying to do stuff the way I did on the PS1, but it results in unnecessary deaths due to Crash's tweaked handling. I can barely keep my live counter above 60.
The only other thing I've run into is the poor hitboxes with the mashers in Snow Biz. I was almost completely away from one (Coco's ponytail was barely touching it) and still took a hit. They're already difficult enough here, I don't need that.
Aside from those, it's basically Crash 2 on PS4. The rest of the game is still good as before.

I don't know Crash enough to compare the small changes between original and remake but I'm playing Crash 3 right now and it's brill! Not finished the other 2 yet but just sort of playing through them in random order is fun.
So this falls under the category of shameful cheese, but I was totally stuck on "the high road" in crash 1 until I discovered that you can totally jump onto the ropes of the rope bridge and walk along it....even jumping over the stones holding the ropes to go from section to section.... I'll have to go back and do it for real later but man, that level sucks.
Just walked past a crystal and had it pointed out to me. Thats four times now because the stage colours hid it. And thats not including the Crash 1 colour issues Ive had.
Seriously. Modes for this are not hard.

At this point I can see the Switch using that OS level screen colour output changer foe it. As games get more advanced it gets harder to see. So having it built into the OS means devs dont need to care.
And hey, 8% of people. Still 600 million. And I didnt know for 19 years.
Oh. And I only say Crash is orange because everyone else says so. I see him as red But that will trigger people just like a whole green eyes debate

@BLP_Software As an IT professional I can tell you that accessibility is anything but cheap and easy. It is also the "ugly duckling" in that if you are in a crunch and have to choose between a delay and accessibility.... well you can imagine. The other problem is that it is so multifaceted, but people get stuck on blindness (I've met a blind guy who plays WoW). Color blindness may be easy to implement, but then to test becomes expensive - and why choose that disability over blindness, deafness, MS where hands shake, etc.
I don't mean to not simpathize but from my day to day I know for a fact that it is a giant sinkhole for time and money.
Bout to begin Crash 3. 100%'d 2, but Warped will probably take some time.

@KratosMD I meant the Crash Dash soeed shoes stuff you get at the end. Notice how they add it to 2 but not one. Notice how Crash 1 is much slower stop and start gameplay.

Got past the part that was really annoying the hell out of me, and now I'm actually starting to enjoy Crash 1 a bit more. Felt the need to post this, because I was ranting and raving a few days about how freaking mad I was.
I haven't 100%'d it yet, but I just finished Warped last night.
Like Crash 2, it's pretty much the same aside from a couple differences. The only issue I have is the jet ski. What the heck happened there? It was fun and easy to control on PS1, but here it's so loose. I guess that's how a jet ski would feel like realistically, but why add realistic jet ski physics to a game starring a humanoid bandicoot? That just sounds silly, and makes the levels it's in wear out their welcome for me.
I heard a lot of people dislike how the bike handles as well, but I honestly haven't had any issues with it.
