Topic: Playstation 4 Backloggery and most wanted!

Ok Ive achieved 2 of the topics I set out to do. Since then I have bought Dirt 4, God of War, Knee deep in Super Mario World and Cant finish the bloomin special cup 100cc on the snes mini. So my backlog regress is 2.

Then add in the fact Im now going for the plat in pes 18 and am tempted to run knack a tad more as its pretty hard and fun. And the fact I started that king in the sky throwing rocks angry birds beater psplus game (what the hell is that called?).

My backlog regress is now;

My PS4 software library says I've purchased 196 games and 92 ps+ games. I assume that 196 includes the 92. PSN Profiles says that I've played 128. And I have a few games I've not installed... does that mean my backlog regress is - 68?

@JohnnyShoulder I think including regress means you dont need to put a - symbol. So your Backlog regress is 68. Your Backlog progress is -68.

That is a lot of gaming.

I’m close to beating Assassin’s Creed 2 and I finished Bloodborne.
I also started Mass Effect 3 so that’s some progress.

One wasn’t on my earlier list, but it needed to be finished so it was still good.

I've managed to clear 3 games off my backlog this week, Swords of Ditto - completed, God of War - Platinumed, A Way Out - Platinumed. I don't know how i balance my life and still manage to platinum games, I work full time, write reviews for Push Square, play cricket and have a girlfriend that requires 24/7 attention. Yet somehow I still find a little time to chip away at my insanely large backlog.

@Simon_Fitzgerald That is pretty impressive. It has taken me nearly a month to get close to getting the platinum on God of War and I've only managed 3 hours of a Way Out in two weeks with my friend.

@Rudy_Manchego I've got a folder of about 30+ triple A titles and a folder of 30+ indies to get through and they just seem to get bigger and bigger. Titles like Persona 5, Nier Automata, Witcher 3, Bioshock collection, Wolfenstein, Dishonoured 1 and 2, Child of Light, Tearaway, Hand of Fate 1 and 2, etc. It's endless!

@Simon_Fitzgerald Ha - I have almost the same titles in my backlog with the exception of Nier and Persona and thats excluding Switch, Vita and Xbox games. Just cut out sleep and you'll manage them all eventually.

Im putting Nier Automata on hold and am really going to concentrate on Dirt 4 and GoW over the coming weeks. As for my next purchases, minecraft for the plat - minit for the unique gameplay - sega megadrive collection for the nostalgia - Dreams to make my own game.

Hopefully E3 wows me, it needs to as I have really gone off buying and playing a lot of games this year. If it fails to reignite that spark I can see 2018 saving me dough.

@RogerRoger its my sons Switch and he is a filthy casual. Its used for fifa and wwe. I would pick it up for say £25-30 but £48 for a game I won't have the chance to play is a bit too much.

I actually went to Game today as my wife was in Debenhams for eyelashes. The only copies of BOTW were £52 and for a year old game I cant drop that dough and bought megadrive collection instead. The Street Fighter collection was winking at me also, but even chun li's thighs cant drag me to the till.

@JJ-Firl Yeah, I've been meaning to get to it for a while. It's pretty and looks chill: exactly my sort of RPG.

Child of Light is a great little game! Helped to get my taste back for turn based combat.

E3 is over and we all have a gazillion games we want. So now is a great time to post our original comment with an update on how we are getting on!

List of what I was playing at the the time of the original post:

1) God of War - PS4
2) Skyrim - Switch
3) Mario Land - 3DS

What I wanted to move on to:

1) Detroit Become Human
2) A Way Out
3) Dark Souls

I completed God of War and Mario Land 3D, but Skyrim is a still a WIP. For games I wanted to play, I have almost finished A Way Out (relying on me and a mate being free at the same time) but I didn't have enough dosh for Detroit or Dark Souls.

So actually, I have a massive backlog but not sure what to start next. With Hollow Knight releasing on Switch, probably going to move onto this. Might dig into some smaller games this week as well.

My original posted backlog:
>1. Bloodborne - I think I am literally one play session away from the end and have held off finishing because I considered doing chalice dungeons. But I think I’ll just finish and reload my save to be able to experience the other endings (thanks to @Jaz007 for the tip) and then move on. As much as I’ve loved my time in Yharnam, it’s time. I’m unfortunately out of town for a bit, so it will have to wait.

Pathetic really. In my defense, I did finish off or work on a couple other games (Inside and Firewatch) and work on some Vita games (finished Danganronpa UDG, and playing Legends of Cold Steel atm) but the thread is PS4 so those don’t count.
As soon as Bloodborne is done, I think I’ll move Yakuza 0, Assassin’s Creed Origins, or Beyond Two Souls into that slot, I’m not sure which first. All of them have follow up games either available now or soon so I need to get them completed.

My original most anticipated list was as follows:

>3. Red Dead Redemption 2
And despite all the new E3 information, I’ll keep that list the same. I would put Ghost of Tsushima as #1, but without a release date, I’m not inclined to count it yet. So I’ll actually stick with my original 3.

I didn't finish any of the games I said I was going to! I'm going to try and finis--er, start those three! Man, I am bad at this!

I did finish Yakuza 0 and Yakuza 6. I finished God of War, Detroit Become Human, and Vampyr.

I bought State of Decay 2, but it was so glitchy it crashed and black screened my PC! I refunded it as soon that happened!

New Gundam Breaker has not come out yet. I'm working two jobs right now, so I haven't had a lot of time! xD
