The Oldgrowrth is an Errand in Horizon Forbidden West issued by Shael at the very top of Plainsong, above the Stitcher merchant, after The Second Verse and The Promontory. As part of our Horizon Forbidden West guide, we're going to explain everything you need to know about The Oldgrowth.

The Oldgrowth: Walkthrough

It's optional, but if you want to, head downstairs in Plainsong to speak to Ven, the survivor. Then head north of Plainsong to The Oldgrowth. Follow the path and deal with the Apex Scrappers surrounding the first corpse. Collect its pouch and scan for tracks. Follow the tracks to a second corpse, and collect the pouch. Then follow more tracks to the third corpse, and collect the pouch. Use your Focus once more to go up two cliffaces, tracking Lao's residue along the way. Deal with the Skydrifters and inspect crevice in the wall.

Fight the Clawstrider, you can get a stealth hit in at the start. Lao will slow it down using his Blastsling. Build up Shock damage and hit it with Critical Hits. Then, once defeated, return to Shael at Plainsong.
