While Dragon Age: The Veilguard doesn't drop until 31st October on PS5, companionship-starved fans can get a taste of the friendship to come in an eight-part narrative podcast series. The series serves as a prequel to the game and an introduction to its companion characters.
Dragon Age: Vows & Vengeance kicks off in just a few days, on 29th August, with new episodes following weekly after that, all the way up to The Veilguard's release. You can get a teaser of the audio action in the clip above, and it's pretty high-quality stuff. Each of the companion characters will make an appearance, along with a couple of characters exclusive to the audio drama. Cool!

We're quickly beginning to anticipate the upcoming Dragon Age game, thanks to some undeniably appealing trailers and gameplay details emerging. Can BioWare stick the landing, or could we have another Andromeda situation? Let us know in the comments section below.

Dragon age fortnite edition
Callisto protocol and Halo were the only other games I know that had an audio drama leading up to the release. Audio was good…. Games not so much. I know it means nothing but I’m starting to understand why people are saying they are worried about the overhype for this game.
I like this idea. Love listening to story based podcasts, but nost I listen to are horror like the nosleep podcast. Would love a good fantasy podcast, so I'm well up for this
@KillerBoy It's far from being that. The latest 10 minutes gameplay deep dive videos are actually great and the graphics is stunning
While the first trailer of the game was the worst thing ever. I really liked what they've shown afterwards and it became my most anticipated game this year.
@Stamp_Monkey World of Warcraft Legion had the "10 000 Year War" audio drama in 3 episodes, was pretty good.
