FromSoftware broke the brains of an entire generation of streamers with its masochistic series of Soulslike games, beginning with Dark Souls, spanning everything in between, before reaching peak ridiculous with Elden Ring. The difficulty inherent in the developer's games and additional self-imposed restrictions make for a heady mix and an undeniably exciting watch. But you can all pack it in now, as the ultimate git gud FromSoftware challenge run has been completed after two years of trying.
Back in 2022, we prematurely crowned GinoMachino Elden Lord after he became the first player to beat every Elden Ring boss without taking a hit; we would like to rescind that honour formally. Kneel before dinossindgeil, also known as Nico, who has officially completed "The Godrun 3", a masochistic marathon of epic proportions.
Nico has, at long last, managed to beat, back-to-back, without taking a single hit or even levelling up once, Dark Souls, Dark Souls II, Dark Souls III, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Bloodborne, Elden Ring, and Demon's Souls, along with all their associated expansions and DLC. The streamer broke down in tears upon defeating the Soul of Cinder as the enormity of it all set in, dedicating the achievement to his late cat, Lilly, who tragically passed away during the two years it took to achieve the feat:
"I promised to myself that I'm gonna finish it for her, no matter what happens. I didn't want to stop doing it because I made that promise."
Do you think Miyazaki envisioned his creations would create such suffering within the community or such relentless dedication? Let us know what you think of the "God Run 3" and dinossindgeil's achievement in the comments section below.

That’s absolutely mad. People are way too good at these games.
My noob brain can't even comprehend this. I died a thousand times to finish Elden Ring and I was still proud of myself 😅 I guess these games are just gonna keep getting harder and harder for us plebs now, thanks to these streamers 🥲
Having died for what feels like a million times over the last 10 years or so I can’t imagine doing this in this lifetime or the next. Simply stellar.
@nessisonett I haven’t checked the vid but I wonder how long it takes one to beat the final boss on Elden Ring at level one. Like how many hits does it take?
Did his cat die because he was too busy "gitting gud" and he forgot to feed her?
Incredible… I just don’t know how it’s possible. I cringe at the mere thought of having to start one game over because I took a hit, nevermind multiple games.
Someone please clarify here…. So let’s say Elden Ring was the final game in this gauntlet, had the streamer taken a hit in ER then he would have gone all the way back to ‘game 1’ (assuming Dark Souls?)
That is absolutely brutal if so, fair play to the lad
It started with demons souls way back on the ps3. Granted dark souls gave the series more exposure but it was demons souls that kicked it all off.
@CJD87 I have (I think) the same question. I don’t think they have to be played chronologically, as that most certainly did not look like Elden Ring graphics, but if you were to start with any game you chose, if you got 3 games in to it, and took a random hit, do you have to go all the way back to game 1? Or do you start over on the game you took the hit?
@Sarcasmatwork From what I've watched of these challenges in the past, they can choose which order they play the games (usually starting with the hardest games) and if they take a hit, they start from the first game again.
Most players end with Dark Souls 3 as the general consensus is that the bosses are the easiest to beat without getting hit.
It's an insane achievement, so a huge well done to him! The dedication to his cat is something I feel in my heart as I recently lost my cat of 18 years and memories of her sitting beside me as I played floods my mind.
I hang out in the Souls community a lot on Twitch, i.e., I watch a lot of Souls challenge content. Everybody in the community knows that Gino Machino is the GOAT. There’s no gimmicks to his gameplay; he is just incredibly well practiced. A true professional dedicated to his craft. Well done Gino!
@DonkeyFantasy I need to go watch this stuff. Might be a completely new way to torture myself and get some extra mileage while I wait for Nightreign.
Big deal, I recently completed an all-hit run, where I made sure I was hit by every single boss in all the games.
It was definitely a challenge run, and the numerous beatings I took were purely by choice.
One day, kids are gonna listen to me talk about this in the same way that I listened to my dad talking about when England won the World Cup.
Such a crazy challenge but big props to him for completing it.
@Gremio108 🤣
@hi_drnick lol...
@Crimson_Ridley Answered all my questions! Thank you for the info! Sorry to hear about your cat. Hope you’re having a great day!
Just the Sekiro part is just unfathomable to me.
