Re: Xbox Series X Detailed as Sony Remains Completely Silent on PS5

FullbringIchigo

i did notice one thing though, they said that it will be compatible with XBOX and 360 from the BC program

as they said it in the article

Our commitment to compatibility means existing Xbox One games, including backward-compatible Xbox 360 and original Xbox games

so it's STILL not full backwards compatibility and it still means half my 360 games and nearly ALL my OG XBOX games still can't be played and given that both my OGXB and 360 are dead i was hoping that this time round it would be proper BC, surely with how powerful this new system is meant to be it wouldn't be an issue for them, this isn't a situation like Sony has with the PS3 and the Cell which makes it virtually impossible to do after all

Re: Hands On: Shenmue III's Story Quest DLC Is an Add-On Done Wrong

FullbringIchigo

@Th3solution I'm OK with DLC if it's implemented properly, like how it was in Spider-Man for example, all the DLC is post game content and it's story takes place after the main narrative

but DLC like this one is a pain, you shouldn't have to restart a game to play the DLC because you happen to have gone past the point it takes place

at least FFXV even though they mishandled the DLC let you access it whenever you pleased from the main menu even if you passed the point it was meant to take place

Re: Dissidia Final Fantasy NT's Final Update Set for March, No Sequel Planned

FullbringIchigo

yeah it's sad new, i have loved Dissida NT although it was a bit bare bones but i think the issue there is it was a port of a arcade game and that limited it's scope

maybe Square Enix should give Arc System Works a call

nah otherwise it would just be another eSport fighter, it will look amazing but it will be as bare bones as other games like that such as DB FighterZ (which again looks and plays great but has bugger all in terms of content), i would rather they got Omega Force to make a Warriors style game, that would be awesome and after all they worked with KoeiTecmo on NT and Opera Omnia so it wouldn't be impossible to think they could work together again

Re: Final Fantasy VII Remake Box Confirms the Game Is 100GB in Size

FullbringIchigo

@3MonthBeef i understand all that BUT when it comes to games when someone says "episodic" they assume it's a release like the TellTale games or Life is Strange because that's what they were called

that's why we say Part 1 instead of Episode 1, by saying Part it implies that it's a larger more robust experience than an episode more in line with a film than a TV show, if that makes sense

after all bar the Star Wars films not many other films series call each film a "episode" even if it's one narrative for example Lord of the Rings, it wasn't Lord of the Rings: Episode 1 it was LotR The Fellowship of the Ring or LotR Part 1

Re: Final Fantasy VII Remake Box Confirms the Game Is 100GB in Size

FullbringIchigo

well i figured as much when they said it was going to be on 2 discs

@3MonthBeef it's not episodic it's in parts there is a difference, episodic is when it's like The Walking Dead or Life is Strange where they are small, short segments that last a few hours that release individually

but in parts is more like games such as Mass Effect or even the FFXIII Trilogy, full games with loads of content and a long length that cover a chapter of the story but are complete in that part of the story they tell

think of it in terms of films, were the Lord of the Rings films "episodes" just because the narrative took place over 3 films or were they full films?

i really wish people will stop saying it's "episodic" because it's giving people the wrong idea of what it actually is, a 40+ hour game is not episodic, it's a full game it's just it's story carries over into another game

Re: Round Up: Sonic the Hedgehog Movie Reviews Could Cancel Valentine's Day Dates

FullbringIchigo

@JoeBlogs and yes they can but they shouldn't be the only thing you use to judge something like a film because at the end of the day a critics review is just their point of view, just because they didn't like something that doesn't mean you wont like it as well

that's where things like rentals, streaming and DVD comes in, because they allow you to check it out in your own time but i don't think any piece of film should be dismissed simply because a critic said they didn't like it, if i did that i would have missed out on some of my favorite ever films

Re: Dragon Ball FighterZ Reveals Season 3 DLC Characters Ultra Instinct Goku and Kefla

FullbringIchigo

@RR529 they should add Chi-Chi as a playable fighter as she fought in the World Martial Arts Tournament once

and maybe some original Dragon Ball characters after all with the battle system this game has flying doesn't really come into it so it would be fine having characters that can't fly such as Master Roshi, Tao Pai Pai, Eighter, Nam and Grandpa Gohan

i would even like to see Mr Satan (so glad they went back to that name in the games, the uncut anime always used it)

Re: Dragon Ball FighterZ Reveals Season 3 DLC Characters Ultra Instinct Goku and Kefla

FullbringIchigo

@AdamNovice first off Goku Black isn't Goku, it's Zamasu so it doesn't count and Vegito and Gogeta don't count wither, they may be made up of Goku and Vegeta but they are unique characters and if they count as a Goku then they also count as a Vegeta too

all in all there are currently 4 Goku's in the game BUT there are also 3 Vegeta's, 2 Gohan's and 2 Broly's yet people only moan about how many Goku's there are

it's almost as if he is the main character of the franchise or something?

on a side note if the game actually had a transformation system like other Dragon Ball games do then there wouldn't be a need for multiple versions of the same character taking up slots, they should do what Budokai Tenkaichi 3 did and have all the different versions of characters take up one slot but be selectable before battle so basically there is only one Goku slot but when you click on him you get to chose which version you want to play as

Re: Rumour: Resident Evil 8 Has Zombies and Werewolves, First-Person, Chris Redfield Returns

FullbringIchigo

@Undeadlogan no that's why i would LIKE it to be 3rd person but it doesn't have to be 3rd person, if Capcom want to make it 1st person then that's fine i'll still give it a go just like with 7 i would just prefer it to be done in a similar style to Resi 2 Remake, and Resi 4, Resi 5, Resi 6 and the upcoming Resi 3 Remake because i think it works better for this series
