Re: PlayStation 'Committed' to Strong Story-Driven Single-Player Games on PS5 and Beyond

FullbringIchigo

@JJ2 and the PS4 has sold over 100 million and MS making their games on P.C wasn't the main reason it sold poorly, it was what they did with the console before it came out, overpriced, mandatory kinect, always online and no used games plus the way they acted about it, telling people to "deal with it" or if they wanted a offline system then play a 360

the XB1 bombed because MS effed it up not because the games came out on P.C.

Re: PlayStation 'Committed' to Strong Story-Driven Single-Player Games on PS5 and Beyond

@Col_McCafferty yeah they would, i already saw post on Twitter with people asking for nude mods for her

sad gits

as for the other point perhaps i just don't get it as for me i'm not fussed what i play a game on, i'm not a huge fan of P.C as most of my work involves P.C's and i would rather not have all my downtime revolving around it as well but if that's where we all end up then that's where i'll go as long as i still get to play the games i want to play

but as i said in another article console gaming and P.C gaming appeals to different people so games going to P.C wont kill the consoles, there will always be a market for a dedicated system you can plug into your TV

Re: Guide: Short PS4 Games

FullbringIchigo

@vhsodre what trophy was that?, i don't play borderlands but i would have imagined given the type of game it is that all the trophies would require some effort bar the story progression ones of course

Re: Guide: Short PS4 Games

FullbringIchigo

@vhsodre well i never said it was a good game and anyone who actually has the Platinum on that game should be ashamed of them self's but because you do still have to do something in it to get the trophies it does still qualify it as a a "game" sadly

Re: E3 2020 Is About to Be Cancelled

FullbringIchigo

"it'll be interesting to see how publishers such as Ubisoft, Square Enix, and Bethesda react to this incoming cancellation, along with Microsoft.

well i don't think it will bother Square Enix, they have streams all year around to announce their games and stuff (well the Japanese Branch does) so they could just do that

as for MS well they could probably put on an event of their own or at the very least a live reveal on youtube or something

as for Ubisoft and Bethesda well i imagine we will probably just get a series of tweets and a few videos

although i can see MS being a bit peeved about it, E3 is their show after all or at least it should be as they are the only ones who always get the best stage, time and the most focus during the event anyway

but i still think it's just the ESA making excuses, they could see that this years E3 was going to be a dumpster fire, organiser leaving and the focus on celebrities and influencers went down with the general public as well as a eggy fart in a packed lift, they could see it was DOA anyway

@Arnna at the start when Min asks you to wait, well if you actually don't move and wait he will come back, you will do what you went there to originally do and get an alternate ending

Re: Not Every PS4 Exclusive Guaranteed for PC Release, Says PlayStation Boss

FullbringIchigo

@JJ2 the thing is this isn't anything new, it's been happening for decades

for example take the PS1 and one of it's biggest game FINAL FANTASY VII, that released on PS1 as an exclusive and PUBLISHED by Sony Interactive in 1997 and then on P.C in 1998

console exclusive games have been releasing on P.C for years so i don't understand why this is such a issue for people, especially with a game that's already over 3 years old and probably already reached it's console sale limit

and that goes back to my older comment, people will play on the platform they like to play on and while Exclusives do drive sales it's not the only driving point and you can guarantee if this does end up negatively affect console sales Sony will just stop doing it

for now this is test bed release nothing more

Re: Not Every PS4 Exclusive Guaranteed for PC Release, Says PlayStation Boss

FullbringIchigo

@JJ2 yeah exclusives sell systems, i'm not denying that but if you're a console gamer then going to P.C isn't an issue because as a console gamer you're going to buy the console anyway, now if it went to other consoles like the XBOX that's when it becomes an issue

but it's not going to kill consoles like people are saying, like i said this kind of thing has been going on for decades and it hasn't killed consoles yet

Re: Not Every PS4 Exclusive Guaranteed for PC Release, Says PlayStation Boss

FullbringIchigo

@Gamer83 and you hit it there "preferred platforms"

people are going to play on the platform they prefer to play on, at this point in time if you prefer a console then you're going to buy a console regardless on if the games come out on P.C too

the PS4 sold over 100 million consoles do you really think ALL of them are just going to go a buy a P.C simply because a few games that were PS exclusive are coming out on it?

and that's what i was getting on at, the P.C is a completely different market to the console market, they appeal to different kinds of people, some gamers like to have all the latest tech, sit in a gaming chair surrounded by monitors and have ultra HD, 60fps gaming

and others like to lounge of the sofa with a controller in their hand playing on the TV

that's not going to change because a few exclusives are no longer Console exclusive if that was the case then console gaming would never have got past the PS1 generation

Re: Not Every PS4 Exclusive Guaranteed for PC Release, Says PlayStation Boss

FullbringIchigo

@JJ2 i don't see how it's confusing though, The Console and P.C market are different and don't really compete with each other, people who like gaming on a console will buy a console even if some of the games go to P.C same as people who like gaming on P.C will game on a P.C even if the games are on a console

in this regards it's all about HOW you like to play your games

Re: Rumour: Warner Bros to Cast Lumos on Anticipated PS5 Harry Potter RPG

FullbringIchigo

i would love a full blown Harry Potter RPG as long as it doesn't adapt the Curse Child, JK may have authorised it but it was the biggest piece of bad fanfiction i had ever read and it should be stripped from the canon, it doesn't even follow the rules of the Potterverse

well whatever, i brought the script book read it once then chucked it in the bin

never again

Re: PS4 Has Reportedly Sold a Ridiculous 68 Million More Units than Xbox One

FullbringIchigo

@Porco i had 4 360's by the end of it's life cycle, i also had 3 OG XBOX's and am currently on my 2nd XBOX ONE

Still on my OG PS1 and PS4 though, i had 2 PS2's althoughh it was my fault, i did drop my original one down the stairs and i brought a PS3 slim to replace my 40gb original model PS3 because that thing sounded like a jet engine when you played it, it still works though

never had to replace a Nintendo system due to failure, every one i had to replace (which wasn't many BTW) was due to me breaking it in some way such as leaving my DS in the window on a hot day and it cooked the top screen

Re: Japan Says Final Fantasy X Is the Best Game in the Series

FullbringIchigo

@Boldfoxrd to be honest i think everyone and their mother has played VI at this point (fun fact my mother had in fact played and completed FFVI)

the issue is with VI (as great as it is) is that it's just too old now, it has a great story but in terms of game play other FF games have come out since and do it better, VII, IX, X even X-2

FFVI has reached that age where it only really appeals the series fans and fans of retro games same as FFVII that's one of the reason VII is getting a remake

the gaming market has changed a lot since it's release and whether or not for the better is a different debate in itself
