I really hope this is the case. I've had Persona 5 Royal installed, ready to go, for a while now, but haven't yet had chance to play it. I guess I can wait a few more months to play the definitive (definitive) version.

Does anyone know if there's cross-platform multiplayer?

Up until fairly recently, I'd be buying games like this on day one but this year I didn't have time to play a couple of these big games so had to wait. I'm so glad of that now and plan to do this moving forwards, too. Whether I stick to it is another thing but let's see.

I'm looking forward to jumping back on Apex Legends after this update. It's been a while! The bump in resolution is nice but I'm particularly excited about HDR — it's often overlooked but makes such a big difference. Let's hope the 120 Hz and DualSense support update comes pretty soon, too. Thanks for the video.

If you're remotely interested in these kinds of games or curious what all the fuss is about, give Slay the Spire a go. It's excellent.

Is there any chance we'll get a native PS5 version of Persona 5 Royal. I'd like to think that's why it's being removed but I'm guessing, as others have said, it's simply a licensing thing or something similar.

This is frustrating.

I'd love to know what's really going on. This topic is always a hot one — a lot of people say it's no big deal because they don't have a TV that supports it but more and more, people are getting TVs that do as the prices are coming down. It's a big deal. Really. Having VRR there to smooth out those little dips is excellent and, right now, if I had the choice, I'd choose to play games on Series X over PS5 for that reason alone, which is a shame as I love my PS5!

I wish Sony would at least communicate what's going on. Transparency is key here and always will be, especially when it's about something that should've been here from day one.

I know they basically said that this is just the start but I hope we see something else relatively soon, too. Like many of you, I can only dream of having some kind of built-in Discord for Xbox and PlayStation, finally bridging that annoying cross-platform gap between the different consoles and PC.

I was going to add Switch in there as well but decided I should keep it at least within the realms of slight possibility.
