It is disheartening to hear suggestions to drop a platform in PS+ in order for Sony "...to focus on the PS4." .:. 1) There remains a large user base of the other systems paying for the PS+ Membership. Why alienate PS3, PS-Vita and PSP owners who signed up to PS+ expecting continued support of their platform on the service. .:. 2) PS4 owners tend to benefit from the additional platforms when Cross-Buy Titles which include the PS4. True these rarely are AAA games, but there tend to be gems among the Indies titles. Thankfully, they rarely are at the PS MINI level of games. .:. 3) The message sent by removing the PS3 or PS-Vita is that Sony is pulling support for that platform. Not only will this cause friction with owners of those systems, it sets precedent on the length of time owners may expect from Sony. It may even start the end of support for these systems on the PlayStation Store and set a time length for pulling support of PS4. There are few who believe Sony just provides too much support for their hardware and/or for too long. Neither are there many saying Sony support improved when support ended or was reduced elsewhere. .:. 4) What is expected to replace these offerings? There does no seem to be enough PS-VR Titles to provide two games monthly that are considered decent offerings. Is it better getting two games monthly just for PS4 & PS-VR? Will the quality of offerings truly improve enough to match the Cross-Buy offerings lost? .:. I own each platform still supported on the PlayStation Store except for the PS-VR, PS4-PRO and PS3-3D. The PS3 and PSP systems are primarily for my kids entertainment. They still enjoy the PS-Move and WonderBook. PS+ games which allow Ad Hoc Co-op with PSP are very appreciated as it works between my PS-Vita & their PSPs. PS+ Games for the PS-Vita are my focus as my disability makes that system my primary. The PS4 is a part of our entertainment but it has not replaced our older PlayStation platforms. .:. So, I prefer calls for change to be for improving PS+ offerings instead. Sony's history does NOT support that pulling support will improve or increase their focus on PS4 offerings. .:..:.
Please, Please!!! Update this once some hands on play is completed. It looks amazing and almost difficult to use until taking a closer look. Maybe it'll even be more functional with these changes.
@SonyInfinity Remote Play works over the Internet if your in strong connections at home for the PS4 (wired is better) and where you travel for the PS-Vita. Choose games where lag does not ruin things. Some claim Destiny does okay though. .:. I prefer the OLED but PSV-2000 use standard USB charging and accessories for the Psv-1000 can be hard to find. Make sure you pick up the Amazon Basics PS-Vita Vault Case. .:..:.
@naruball I read "at launch" as "at lunch" and was amazed at all the tech you picked up in one day. But fearing the post was spam, I re-read that first line and understand the danger of late night reading....
@BAMozzy Which exclusive PlayStation games have you enjoyed in the past besides Uncharted? Your critic was well thought out and you seem to be a focused gamer. My time to game is limited and doesn't look to increase soon. As I enjoy Uncharted, I'm hoping trying other games you rate high can assist getting the most out of the time I am able to game! I own PS4, PS3 and PS-Vita and don't mind buying PSN versions of available PS2, PSP and PS1 releases. Thanks.
@Neolit Grading PS+ on only the PS4 games offered for FREE is UNSAT. The Cross-Buy offerings must be included along with Discounts. Games reaching 90% Off are not to be ignored.
@Gamer83 Sony has never had external drive support except for multimedia. Instead they allow users to upgrade the internal drive. This probably will never change.
@charlesnarles Streaming, you are able to use a 4GB Memory Card. If you wish to d/l games 32GB, 16GB tend to circle around a $1 per GB but the 4GB is about $12.

Re: Feature: 5 Things Berserk Needs to Get Right on PS4, Vita
Ensure solid ad hoc co-op between PS-Vita and PS4. In addition, the streaming from the PS4 & PS-Vita must be smooth.

You can use the DS4 to play games in the PS-Vita. There are a few videos on YouTube showing how.

Re: Whoops, Sony Made a Mistake with Your January PS Plus Games
Wish I'd downloaded PSP version before Sony fixed the error. If you did, is the PSP game still available to download?

The kids love their brothers PS-TV. If there was one within 100 miles for $20, I'd be heading to pick it up.
