@Gamer83 If Sony will allow 30FPS on the PS5 developers will publish 30FPS games even on a PS5. It is as simple as that. It doesn't matter how powerful a system is. 30FPS are easier to achieve. No polishment, lazy programming, EXTREME graphic upgrades. Believe me. ONLY if Sony or Microsoft forces developers to hit 60FPS something will change.
And if there was a PC standard - like: every PC has to have this or that power - there would be tons of 30FPS PC games out there.
It is a design decision of Bungie. If the PS4 Pro was 10x faster Bungie would use that extra power for graphic upgrades and it still wouldn't hit 60FPS. Framerates are ALWAYS a design decision of the developers. Every game COULD run in 60FPS. Bungie just has other priorities.
Preordered it a while ago because of this cool gun-controller. Could be the first first person shooter since ages that could feel "natural". I always hate the controls in FPS, even on PC with mouse and keyboard. But THIS could really be it.
I rarely preorder. And I don't like open world titles like Far Cry anymore. Played them too often. But I did preorderd Horizon Zero Dawn. Too many reviewers I trust liked it a lot and it's more an RPG. I really hope for a 60FPS (lower graphics fidelity) patch for the Pro. Another reason for preordering: Got the Bluray for 49.99 Euros.
@GBMatthew Yes, 8K is completely absurd because we come to a point where the lenses of the camera come their limits. And yes, you 4K video filmers with your cell phone: It does not make any sense. A good camera with a good lense makes better pictures in 2K than a cell phone with 4K.
This poll is not a good one because you only have ONE possible answer. But there are at least three fantastic features I don't want to miss. I guess I'm not the only person thinking that way so the result of the poll says almost nothing.
I hate that developers only go for higher resolution or better graphics but rarely framerate. I am a 60FPS junky. I want every game run smoothly. 30FPS is just horrible. I accept it but I don't like it. So why do the developers not give the customers the choice: Better graphics in 30FPS or not so good graphics but 60FPS. I bought the game shortly after release and didn't touch it yet, so yes, I will play it with the pro patch.
