They (Yumi and Shannon) were very close according to the Raising Kratos Documentary, Yumi was practically her shadow, so I'm pretty sure she will be up to the task, glad to see the studio is in good hands.

Sad news tbh, she took the decision to call back Cory Barlog, and we all know how that ended for God of War 2018. I hope Sony can keep the cool in the studio and keep Cory happy, in the other hand best of luck for Shannon, at least Google is committed with Stadia after all.

I believe they'll add the photo mode to the PS4 version any time soon. The IP is still owned by SIE after all (you can see the SIE Presents screen in the PC trailer). Maybe when the PS5 finally is unveiled they'll announce an update to DS PS4 so it can use the capabilities of the new hardware via Backward Compatibility, including 60FPS and of course Photo Mode (which will be available on PS4 too).

@Bamila 9.8 TF but also no Hardware Raytracing, which will be a separate module (according to the same leaks) so in this case we'll have to see if the specs of the 9.8 GPU and the Raytracing Module on the PS5 can match or surpass these unified 12 TF on the he XSX GPU.

Also there's other leaks after this claiming PS5 is actually more powerful so we'll have to see how this ends.

Quick resume is also confirmed for PS5, also that Smart Delivery is just a PR name for good old Cross-buy.

As someone said, this is probably what Sony was waiting for, now they can announce specs, features, design and 2 or 3 games; I expect a date for that reveal event in some point of this week, and the final price and complete game launch library + upcoming hype-builder games for around E3 season.

I consider Push Square reviews very objective despite being a PlayStation centric web so this score really put a smile on my face, I really hope this game can be a huge success, critically and economically.

Back on track??? More like back on trash. Criterion games was the reason I moved on the NFS franchise back in the HP/MW2012 days and heat brought me back. Don't get me wrong, Criterion is a good studio but their NFSs are just unispired Burnout rip offs (bs wreckfests with no customization), if they're back making games put them on a new Burnout, but leave NFS to Ghost.

That Nintendo CEO was salty as f**k. PlayStation dominated the N64 because of the more diverse, bigger and mature game library and because it was more friendly with developers.

See Platinum??? There's a lot of people willing to support your games on PC and PlayStation, so now you can stop working only for Nintendo all the time please.

@nookie_egg I think you're confusing Remote Play with PS Now, PlayStation games are not coming to switch, it's just an app to stream the gameplay from your PS4 at home to your switch using WiFi connection.

I keep saying Sony should hire them and give them funds to develop a new franchise, or maybe a Heavenly Sword reboot made by Platinum Games.

They've also tried to buy Nintendo and Square Enix in the past, even tried to convince Sony to make PS2 games compatible with PC back in the day and failed (that's when the Xbox was born). They've never get along very well with japanese companies, being Mistwalker one of the few studios that have agree to work for them till the end (and never again).

This is a splendid idea, for example if your family is watching TV on the living and you want to play PS4 you can use your switch and stream the PS4 gameplay in your bed. It needs to happen, the whole point of remote play is to be able to stream PS4 gameplay on any device, switch could make a fine addition and even this could raise PS4/5 sales for switch owners.

@TooBarFoo that could work with devices connected on the same network, in that case you don't need internet to stream from PS4 to switch. Even with Bluetooth is possible.

If I'm not mistaken the Sora Team is not owned by Nintendo, so technically they can work for any mayor console manufacturer (I think). Sony should hire Sakurai for the PS Allstars Sequel (one can dream).

Speaking of Nintendo exclusives coming to PS4 I think it's time for Octopath Traveler to hit the Sony's system. It's already on Steam so there's a possibility, c'mon square enix!

With the lastest rumours the best place to play will be the PC, even for Sony.

Nvidia and DX knowledge is not required nor mandatory for the job. A programmer with the previous experience can learn in a relatively short time how to work on AMD hardware with Vulkan/OpenGL, even apple job listings ask for experience with any modern GPUs.

@DominatorV93 regarding your last statement, a few pure PC gamers actually bought PS4 so nothing has changed that much, if Sony only release selected titles, as I mentioned, on PC they can still caught interest because people will notice not every game is released on PC. At least that's how I see it.

That poll is not looking good! Anyways, as I was commenting on Twitter this could work for them if the games are released 3 years after being exclusive to PS5 and if remains only for selected titles; by doing that they can make people interested in PS5 and still gain additional money on PC sales. Personally in this scenario I would definitely buy PS5 day one.

Sadly this is probably the last PlayStation to reach 100M unit sold. With the lastest movements I don't see them selling those number anymore.

For me is a yes. But only if the games are released date to date on PC. My interest on PS5 has decreased but Sony can count me back if they confirm full backward compatibility including PS3 (my old fat died last year and I have lots of games) and if the games remain exclusive for a couple of years in which case it will be hard for me to wait.

Well for me Sony is certainly doomed (sorry 😋) because I'm switching full to PC, there's no point on having multiple platforms if one of them can do everything the others do. Nintendo games are next, maybe in a several years but they will hit the PC natively with the time.

@Nintyfan money doesn't grow in trees my friend. I would rather have everything on one platform, specially third party IPs. I have accepted those games will never come to PS long ago, doesn't mean I have to like that fact, but yeah, maybe my wording was a bit exaggerated on my last comment.

I hope the backward compatibility to be one of those features, it would be awesome for the PS5 to be able to play PSP and PS Vita games as well since Sony is no longer on the handheld market.

They also need to expand PS Now to mobiles and support 4K 60fps streaming.

I played the first shenmue and couldn't last at least 1 hour because of the painfully slow pace of the game. I love story driven titles but this one... I'm not surprised the third entry was lackluster compared to other games, in my humble opinion this is a franchise with no future.

Too bad we'll never get to play Bayo 2 & 3 on PlayStation. Stupid Nintendo kidnapping third party franchises.

I'm calling it, this car will be on GT Sport or GT7.
