@Ashina That was almost 30 years ago though and I do understand the point you’re making, although valid, Microsoft also tried to once purchase Nintendo by flying out to Japan to attend a board meeting with Nintendo representatives and they pretty much laughed Microsoft out of their building. Now, Microsoft and Nintendo seem to be on decent terms and when it comes to business, there usually isn’t any hard feelings if there is a financial benefit for all parties involved so I can see Sony and Nintendo doing something IF this new Xbox acquisition becomes too exclusive.
I think there is plenty of blame to be shared with Activision who gave up console parity to sell out to Microsoft’s enormous offering. But this is business, and Microsoft has plenty of money to blow and we all know Sony has been anti-consumer at points as well.
