I believe most would agree the quality of PS Plus has improved significantly this year, and compared with most months last year, this represents another strong selection.
If you've not yet had the opportunity to play Days Gone, I'm happy for you - you're in for an absolute treat.
@get2sammyb Thanks for your in-depth coverage on both versions 👏
I've noted comments in reviews elsewhere suggesting that the hybrid controls make the VR version more frustrating to play than the pancake version (e.g. due to gunplay being less accurate).
What is your preferred way to play Hitman - VR or pancake?
@suikoden The caricature of sharks as vicious man eaters who attack unprovoked was created for film and TV - and is inaccurate. Peter Benchley (the writer of Jaws) felt such regret about his depiction of sharks that he became an ocean activist.
Great to see more games like this being developed. This in VR would be epic!
Super excited about PS5 - genuinely innovative, high performance tech. I just hope they don't drop the ball with backwards compatibility. The PS4 catalogue is an embarrassment of riches, so if they make that available (hopefully with performance enhancements) Sony will enjoy another successful console generation.
And that's before we even get onto PSVR 2, which has the potential to be massive (over 4m PSVR user base to date)
Big in Japan sale = fantastic VNs at great prices.
I highly recommend 428 Shibuya Scramble, AI Somnium Files, Spirit Hunter: Death Mark and NG for starters. Heard great things about Chaos;Child too, though apparently the Steam version is the one to get
@get2sammyb is a Japanese account required for online features to work correctly, or are you playing online multiplayer using your UK account? Thank you! 😊
I hope this is tactical (for launch) and not strategic (long-term). Many of the finest, most innovative and downright joyful games this generation were created by Indie devs. Ignore them at your peril Sony.
@MinerWilly I hope you told them what you'd like! I see these questionnaires occasionally. I'm suggesting a more structured, open format which is visible - sonypsnfeedback.com - that will engage people and demonstrate that feedback is a) being listened to and b) being acted upon.
If Sony are smart, they'll do exactly what's been done on this page and invite structured feedback from PS+ subscribers, then implement the feedback. That feedback loop should then be an ongoing process.
The landscape is constantly evolving, so this requires an approach from Sony that will embraces and leverage it to offer the most compelling offering to its loyal customers.
Tried to demo but came away underwhelmed. Will give the full version a go. After M2's incredible Sega Ages remasters of OutRun and Virtua Racing, it's up against some serious competition!
@David187 PS+ subscribers are paying more, whilst the resulting service has been reduced. Not just in terms of games, but also online services which the PS+subscription is supposed to support / protect - the termination of the DriveClub servers for example. What game(s) will be next?
The landscape is also rapidly changing.
Look at the value of a competing service like Game Pass and the PS+ offer looks increasingly out of touch.
Sony need to rethink the PS Plus value proposition - and fast. Paying more for a reduced offering vs the previous year, especially in the face competition like Game Pass, won't go unpunished by subscribers considering their next renewal.
@lloydcoombes Haha! Think I get what you mean. I'd like a system that isn't based purely on guesswork and rewards planning to a greater degree. Will keep an eye on this - maybe future updates will include new game modes. Thank you for your insight!
This was released for PSVR in December. The developers themselves describe this an an experience (to be rolled out at parties / with guests) rather than a fully-fledged game - hence the price (and perhaps explains the mediocre review scores on PS Store). Just so peeps know what they're getting into before splashing the cash.

Great to see VR titles in a top 5.
And excited by the prospect of PSVR 2.

PSVRed 5 standing by.
Is that a Wedge Antilles cameo at 1.11?
Re: Star Wars: Squadrons Brings Space Battles to PS4 This October
Loved the Rogue One X-Wing VR mission in Battlefront. If this improves on that, it will be epic.
Re: PS5 Preorder Price Is $699 on Play-Asia, Has Fans Praying It's a Placeholder
I estimate prices between £500-£600 covering both variants.
Despite the higher prices, PS5 and X-Series will both sell like hotcakes.

The honourable thing to do would have been to offer Detroit in addition to PES and Horizon. PS+ needs an overhaul, and soon.

Re: PS Plus July 2019 PS4 Games Announced
@AdamNovice I accept it's a different service. Fair point.
However, it is objectively accurate to state that we are paying more for PS+ and getting less than before. I think it's fair to call that out.
