@Pixel_nme I noticed that last night, just had a brief glance at my TV as my PS5 shutdown and thought to myself it looked different, thought it was lack of sleep at first. 🤣
@darthvirgin I mean if you look at the hardware the PS4 and XB1 are based on the CPU architecture was released in May 2013 on PC and the GPU side it's early-mid 2012 with the Radeon 7000 series.
Ironic now since Ubisoft has managed to tank the performance of AC Valhalla running in 60fps mode on PS5, now drops into the mid 40s with the newest patch which was supposed to optimise the game. 😂
I kinda expected more focus on VR, new headset, motion controls and camera, something to bring it up to the precision of HTC Vive.
As for the release date I've always had 2020 in my mind seems about right if you look at Sony's last few exclusives to hit the PS4.
Pretty cool if it's true about dev kits being in the wild, having prototype Navi silicon probably on TSMC's 7nm node, hammered home by the rumor Navi was built heavily for the PS5 in mind then it probably also means Sony gets first dibs on Navi in a multitude of ways.
@GamerDad66 That would be awesome but a 540p screen for a VR head would make everything like a blocky messy, I mean even Sony going for 1080p display on the Playstation VR I'm having a few concerns at pixelation.

Re: PS5 Firmware Update Adds External Storage Support for PS5 Games, Social Features, and More Tomorrow
@stevie85 I have noticed certain disks spin louder than others but not whine per say
Re: PS5 Firmware Update Adds External Storage Support for PS5 Games, Social Features, and More Tomorrow
I’m hoping it fixes the Blu-ray drive randomly spinning up every hour when you have any disc in the drive.
Re: Around 2,200 Digital Games on the Chopping Block When Sony Closes PS3, PS Vita, PSP Stores
Hoping the Vita emulation scene steps up since Sony isn’t bothered about preserving it’s catalogue of games.

Re: GRID's 40-Car Mode Apparently Not Possible on PS4, But Launching on Google Stadia

Re: PS5 Controller Detailed, 'Looks a Lot Like the PS4's DualShock 4' with Some Exciting New Additions

Re: Control's Worrying PS4 Performance Issues Broken Down in New Analysis
I'll probably just end up getting this for PC this time around, might as well since I can play around with ray tracing.
Re: PS5 Will Support 8K Graphics
I feel like 4k will still be the main target, more likely 8k up scaling.

Re: PS4 Firmware Update 5.53-01 Released
@VR_Gamer I put Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut on my Pro and now it doesn't sound like an assault on my ears.
Risky but if you know what you're doing then I recommend it.
