Looking great. And I'm excited to hear about upgrades to the spear--I know that the nature of the game would never support a fully melee playstyle, but as someone who likes to use melee when I can, I'll enjoy the changes I think.
Honestly, nothing I've seen yet has really gotten me excited. Doubt Monark would be on my radar at all without the SMT connection. I'll wait and see, maybe I'll come around.
I've never really gotten into the Tales series--only beaten Symphonia, I started Vesperia but didn't get hooked--but I am intrigued by Arise. But with Lost Judgment coming so soon, I know I don't have the time a big RPG like this would demand.
Mordin's the only one who died in my playthrough of ME2, although in my defense, I didn't understand the mechanics of the suicide mission at the time and thought I was being careful. By the time I was done and found out Mordin had died, I decided to keep that choice rather than playing through the ending all over again to try and save everyone.
Interesting. I haven't played Ghost yet--it came out at a time when I was overloaded on games. I've been holding out on it being a PS+ game, which I think is still a possibility, given that FF7R already had a whole thing with PS+ versions not being eligible for an upgrade. So Director's Cut doesn't stand in the way of PS+ as far as I can tell.
I want to see more on how it runs on PS4. It might be able to be the killer app that gets me to buy a PS5 (assuming I can find a PS5), but if it runs well on PS4, I'll wait longer.
Nice! My PS Plus needs to be resubscribed in a month, and I was thinking I might not bother, especially as I have Game Pass now. But at 27 bucks, another year seems totally worth it.
My guess is that Horizon Forbidden West will be the killer app that gets me to buy one. But that's also coming out for PS4, so we'll see. I need a few more exclusives for the upgrade to feel worth it.
I haven't played Witcher 3 yet (it's near the top of my To Buy List, once I've cleared out more of my backlog), but I understand the frustration. I definitely felt that while playing Skyrim, and I think the problem was that there were too many fast travel points. You're able to fast travel to hundreds of little points all over the map, and it chops up the world too much. I also almost never ride a horse in open world games, as I find it's too easy to miss the nooks and crannies if you're galloping everywhere.
I just got my PS4 a month ago, so I've already gotten two selections of PS+ games so far: Shadow of the Colossus and Sonic Forces, and Uncharted 4 and DiRT Rally. I can understand why people are upset--these are niche enough titles that pairing them together is gonna leave a lot of players uninterested--but I see the service as giving me access to games I maybe never would have tried, and for that, it seems like this is successful. I dunno how much I'll play either, but I'm looking forward to trying both.

I hope that, if they do ever do this, it will include PSP and Vita stuff.

Re: Horizon Forbidden West on PS5, PS4 Is 'More of the Things People Loved About Zero Dawn'
I know it's still coming to PS4, but if there's anything that can convince me to try and get a PS5 this year, it's going to be Horizon Forbidden West.

Re: Ghost of Tsushima Doesn't Make You Choose Between Samurai and Ghost Fighting Styles
As someone who often doesn't enjoy stealth gameplay, this definitely puts me at ease.
Re: Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 Soundtrack Won't Bring the Noise
Out With The Old is one of my favorite songs on the original soundtracks, that's a pity.
