Really dug West of Dead, I am glad that Upstream Arcade is getting a crack at this IP (since WoD pretty much had Hellboy's art style). I am wondering why Ron Perlman isn't voicing it though (he did their last game).

I'm intrigued, but holy crap do they need to fix that pop-in

Finally got a chance to beat Sifu (was age 44 at the end). Thanks for giving me more info on it. Don't know if I would have picked it up without your insight. Really enjoyed it.

Ya, I am glad they got around to adding that. Unfortunately that feature was not there when I played it. I did the entire second half of the game in one run. Definitely tested my ability to focus for hours on end, but not the most enjoyable experience. Great game though.

Is it a game that requires a significant time commitment? Those Returnal runs are impractical for me. Trying to figure out if it is a good game to pick up and play every now and again when I have free time.

Never understood why people lost so much respect for CD Projekt. The studio is the people that work for it and by all accounts the majority of developers did nothing wrong. It was the executives of the company that caused this issue.

Naughty Dog is more than just Neil Druckman. Santa Monica is more than just Barlog. Why do we put this negative stigma on the whole company?

@Logonogo Ya, have been giving it a go with some friends. Good premise, but some things need ironing out (assassinations). Also a bit light on content. Hopefully the PvE mode they announced will assuage this problem.

This game was pretty fun for about 45 minutes.

Are we saying all the way through the end of act 3 or until the credits roll?

I just want to be able to rent Zombieland: Double Tap without paying for a Starz subscription. Here in the states, you literally can't rent it any other way.

What specifically happened to yours? Did you end up contacting Sony support?

No issue with PS5 before the update, now it is borked. Can't load the store and images (games and friends profile pictures) won't load. Thanks Sony.

Called this when they didn't show the release date at the end of the last State of Play trailer. Bummer, but I guess I will turn to Returnal for my Rogue-lite fix.

Haha ya, some of the filler is painful. I remember an episode, about Team 7 making ramen noodles, that was particularly hard to watch.
I used animefillerlist.com for the original series and Shippuden. Recommend checking it out. You can pretty much skip any episode that isn't marked "Cannon" or "Mixed Filler/Cannon".

Yep. The games are pretty much the cliff notes of the series. Definitely would be careful if you decide to jump on them. They are fun, but I didn't play them until I watched the story arcs that they covered.

Found it odd that Deathloop didn't have the May 21st release date at the end of the trailer. Possibly delayed again?

You aren't kidding. I absolutely love playing a game where your own teammates will kill you for no reason (even if you are the high scorer on the team).

While it also came out on PC, it was one of the few games that wasn't cross-gen. I got it because it looked like a tech-demo with dumb-fun combat (for context I am a Dynasty Warriors fan). If ya go in not expecting much, it is mildly entertaining. Definitely not a great game though from a story perspective (save for the lore videos they put up on youtube).

Really intrigued by this casting. I used to be a proponent of having an actor look as close as possible to a character, but then Netflix's Iron Fist happened. All that really matters is the quality of the acting and Pascal has got that covered.

Haha, ya the penultimate level killed me. I think I died over 100 times before I beat it. No judgment coming from me for not finishing it. Really love the game though. Deserves a lot more attention than it got.

Yo, that would be a way to make me watch the whole series (even if it was garbage). Really loved his sonic growing up. Sonic Underground is underrated IMO.

Only showing a few characters makes me think the others (or a good portion of them) will be locked behind a paywall...

@deathaxe The Witcher 3 update is being handled by Saber Interactive (they ported it to Switch). So I doubt that will be taking much of their focus.

Yep. Same issue on my end. Good game so far though. No other bugs for me (I'm only 5 hours in though).

Crap. Bought it last thursday on the store.

10/10. I totally guessed on the Vita character though (never played it).

This may be a stupid question, but why is Crash 4 included in the September NPD? The game came out on October 2nd.
