To be clear, with the exception of licensed music tracks, any content cuts / changes in Yakuza 3 PS4 compared to the Japanese PS3 original (& there are a few) originate with Ryū ga Gotoku 3 PS4 & were driven by local market or legal / licensing / contract considerations.

Yakuza section starts a little before the 3 hour mark, specific question (re possible remaster / western release of Kenzan, Ishin & Dead Souls) at about 3:03:30.
EDIT: oops, looks like a longer version of the archive got uploaded & the timestamp I gave is now wrong.
@Stocksy 3 & 4 have 2 different versions of a fictional shooter called Boxcelios (the Japanese PS3 originals also had a trivia game called Answer x Answer which was never localised and left out of the PS4 ports). 5 has a rhythm game called Taiko no Tatsujin and Virtua Fighter 2 iirc.
@ellsworth004 The original Yakuza on PS2 does. It's . . . not great. Some of the voice cast (e.g. Mark Hamill as Majima) did the best they could with the script they were given and the voice direction (or lack thereof) they got.
FWIW the entry for Yakuza 3 on the Rocket Beans schedule has been changed to an unnamed "Atlus-Spiel"; while the localisation team who worked on the PS4 Yakuza games are formally part of Atlus USA (Atlus being a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sega in any case), the games so far have been published without the Atlus brand.
Picked up Symphony of the Night for my PS3 (after playing through most of the CV anniversary collection). Judgment is still sitting in my backlog pile.
@Flurpsel haha not quite . . . RGG Studio have released these games on average about 1 a year since 2005 (including spin-offs like Kenzan!, Of The End / Dead Souls and Judge Eyes / Judgment and full remakes), English-speaking markets have been playing catch-up since Yakuza 5 took 3 years to get a localised release, so we did get 3 of them in 2018 (Yakuza 6, Yakuza Kiwami 2 & Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise).
@Gremio108 This studio's games are roughly half the reason I still own a PS3 (the other half being Metal Gear).
@tameshiyaku Yakuza 3's English-language PS3 release was notoriously incomplete and the parts that were translated need at minimum a once-over to revert name changes originating in the dub of the first game. Agree with you re: marketing concentrating on Judgment right now tho'.
Uh FF8 PC is in no way, shape or form "enhanced," it's a pretty bad port from around the time of the original PS release & did not even get the kind of minor fixes that the VII port did.
sigh Judgment & Sinking City within a few days of each other. Cold Steel I can wait on, still only a short way into Sky Second Chapter.
@Custom1991 if we want to get pedantic, Ryū ga Gotoku 5: Yume Kaneshi mono is releasing on PS4 this month in Japan, alongside Korean & Chinese translated versions. Yakuza 5 (i.e. an English translation of said game) hasn't even been confirmed to be happening and is . . . unlikely . . . to release this month even if they have been working on it, largely because much of the target audience are going to be buying Judgment.
@shonenjump86 The next Ryū ga Gotoku game has been confirmed since ages (initial teaser trailer was in 2017) & in the recent stream cited by the article Nagoshi stated all the writing & most of the voice recording for it is done. A localised version which may or may not be called Yakuza 7 is pretty much guaranteed given the success of the series this gen.
@Discipledoctor well, no actual / purported gameplay footage (leaving aside the online game which has a different art style), Ichiban's character model appeared in a 2017 teaser cinematic for Yakuza: Next! (or whatever this game ends up being called) and the Fist of the North Star game (Hokuto ga Gotoku / Lost Paradise).

Re: Metal Wolf Chaos XD - Former Xbox Exclusive Brings Its Bonkers Plot to PS4
@AdamNovice . . . 15 years after its original release. I could cite a few cases of "Only on PlayStation" being true for about a tenth of that time.

@Areus Case shot at 2:17 shows an ESRB rating logo not a CERO one, so not JP version but possibly a mock-up.
