Loving my Portal and stunned at how little lag there is. I played a dozen hours of Elden Ring 180 miles away at my in-laws this week on their passable WiFi. It started up my PS5 and I was playing in less than a minute, the picture was crystal clear and frame rate buttery-smooth. And more impressively it didn't impact me making massive progress in a game that demands sharp reflexes. It's also been great for playing on the sofa when my wife wants the full screen for a show while I'm gaming (previously she'd just get a small corner picture-in-picture!).
I don't understand why all of the articles are being so sniffy. SE are sharing little updates to gamers long before its release. Communication with fans - no matter how small - is a good thing and something you're always sticking the boot in on Sony for not doing it. Plus it's easy article-fodder for you. Win-win!
I wonder if that Bluepoint announcement image was created because Sony were close to completing the acquisition, however other parties have made bids late in the process holding it all up? If MS missed out on Housemarque, for example, they're going to go extra hard to pull Bluepoint out from under Sony's nose.
I only tend to pop up here when I have a cynical theory (sorry about that).
Could I go full tin-foil hat conspiracy theorist for a minute? What if Microsoft are using sock puppets and bot farms to stir up negative sentiment against Sony to try to turn their fan-base against them. It's worked for many governments, individuals and companies over the last few years...
@Quintumply is it not just possible that they have updated their wording to make it 'clearer' (whether it has or hasn't!)? I absolutely read that as online multiplayer requires PS+, which you can buy separately, but don't worry, you can play Death Stranding without PS+. It definitely doesn't say you can play Death Stranding online without PS+.

Re: Poll: What Are Your Summer Gaming Habits?
Without an age bracket this poll is pointless.

Re: Survival Horror RPG Chernobylite Irradiates PS4 in July, PS5 Later This Year
@theheadofabroom Haha! I see the problem. But, all the best jokes require some work on the audience's part.

@nessisonett This post did not get anything like the love it deserved in the first 25 minutes since you posted it. Superb.

Re: Poll: Have You Been Experiencing Drift on Your DualSense PS5 Controller?
No drift, but the left d-pad tends to trigger the up d-pad button unless I catch it just right on both of my controllers, which can be a problem.
