@Broosh I honestly don't think they could now. They are so focused on story based games now, I don't think they could make a game like Crash 3 or Jak and Daxter again. I miss Crash, only Naughty Dog back then could make them good.

But will it be better than Crash Bandicoot Warped on the PS1?

Well for one thing. Cloud saves should be free like on Xbox. I think Sony should set up an instant game library again like they did in the PS3 days again.

@JamieO great review I always loved this game. However I got to it 10 years later than games like Mario Kart 64 and Diddy Kong Racing, so the nostalgia isn't completely there for me. Definitely better than the Land Before Time Racing Game.

@ImmaturityRules yeah seriously they show us 15 minutes of the Last of Us 2 gameplay( If you can even call it that honestly) and they call Microsoft bloated this year. That Conferance was great and I'm excited to choose Xbox again next gen. Just saying Crackdown 3 was better than Days Gone.

It was a perfectly fine show. Honestly Halo looks like it is an Xbox One game as well.

@tameshiyaku I don't think it's 60 on any platform. Pretty sure Activision was lazy and just copied the N'sane Trilogy's engine. Team Sonic Racing is a great alternative.

Sadly know body will care about 3d audio kind of like how nobody cares about the Switch's HD rumble. Good thing is 3d audio wo't make the prices of the controllers to go up like all the useless features in the Switch and PS4 controllers.

@Rolyatthegoon Dont't forget you can even do Lan parties for games like Left 4 Dead between ones and 360s. As well as Lan parties for Crimson Skies between Xbox, 360, and One.

I'm getting Sonic. I can't support Activision anymore. Also 30fps for a kart racer kind of hurts especially when Mario Kart 8 ran at 60fps on the Wii U.

Team Sonic Racing. I'm still hoping it's as good as Transformed.
There is also a Guacamelee collection coming out on May 28th. Picking that up as well.

@JJ2 That reminds me of when Cuphead came out The one reviewer couldn't even pass the tutorial level. Said it was too hard.

@JJ2 Did you also know Ubisoft made ZombiU as well. They are so creative with titles sometimes.

@deepspace5d Well Resident Evil 2 was a highly requested remake and we don't need to say anymore more about Last of Us 2. This game just has a been there, done that feeling. Once reviews come in, I'm sure my opinion will change though.

It's kind of tough to get excited for this one. Zombie games have been everywhere in the last 10 years.

Well I guess og PS4 owners should't upgrade to the Pro. Sounds like we should just save our money because the PS5 will offer more than the pro can anyday. Good thing Sony followed Microsoft. The end product will be much better for it.

Probably the best exclusive title I've played since Pikmin 3. God of War started as a game that I thought would ruin the franchise to probably my 2nd favorite God of War. ( God of War 3 can't be topped.) Still can't call it my Game of the Year though because Celeste and Red Dead 2 were really special to me.

I'm hoping the game is at least half as good as the soundtrack.

I'll wait for it to hit $14.99. It's an alright series with friends.

Sonic and All-Stars racing transformed is the only kart racing game to stand up to Mario Kart. Diddy Kong Racing was good too. Crash kind of feels like a poor mans Diddy Kong Racing with a great drift machanic. 30fps is a deal breaker in a racing title though.

The PS3 selection is pretty lackluster this month if I say so.

@AdamNovice yeah the og Xbox game was the only standout title for me as well. At least that game is awesome.

I think they were missing the big opening title and the big end title. I feel like a new trailer for Last of Us 2 would have left a better impression for fans.

If this is the same port as the Xbox One version, than the online is a laggy mess. Only get this if you got 3 others to play with.

That controller looks awful. They should have copied the Xbox controller. Hopefully the battery life is good at least

I'm picking this up now. Sure CTR is good too, but that is a game I've already played to death. Sonic is a new experience. Plus Transformed was awesome.

@tomassi That's exactly why I would never replay God of War or Red Dead 2. I'm only interested in the story the 1st time.

@InsertUsername Not trolling. I don't like the style of game Uncharted is. Most of Sony's 1st party titles play like uncharted. Therefore I would rather play Crackdown 3 then something like Days Gone.

Crackdown 3 is really fun. I'd rather play that than another behind the shoulder 3rd person action narrative game that Sony pumps out. Where is the variety at? At least Xbox has different genres with their exclusives. And no the PSVR does not have as good of a library as the Xbox One.

Now that's a good idea. Every game should do this. Makes trophy hunting a lot more rewarding.

A sequel to Rayman Legends and Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle would be really nice.

Backwards Compatibility should be included for at least your digital backlog. Some of these like Scott Pilgrim VS the World are stuck on your PS3. Once that system fails you lose that game. Would be nice to have a newer system to play these on.

Now if only Sony made any other games other than 3rd person action games. Where is Jak & Daxter, Modnation Racers, Puppeteer, Ratchet & Clank, Sly Cooper etc?

I would say they are a decent developer. They just haven't made anything that is truly great like Santa Monica Studios. However we have some good games like Disrupter, Spyro 1, and 2, Ratchet and Clank 2, 3, Deadlock and Crack in Time and Sunset Overdrive. Hopefully we get more Ratchet and Clank in the future.

@Fight_Sora_Fight Nice article. Never knew the pro had a 1080 mode. However I'll take the extra power. Only time I noticed framedrops was in the pirates world. But even then it wasn't that bad. Pretty sure it looks gorgeous regardless.

I got it for the Xbox One X, and man it is beautiful. I waited this long, Had to play the definitive version right?

@PS_Nation remember competition is a good thing. Microsoft might not have exclusives but it does have the better online service with the free cloud saving as well as some form of backwards compatibility. Because of this the PS5 will most likely have backwards compatibility next gen. Try to support Microsoft with some of there ideas. It will make the PS5 even better,

@JJ2 The way the camera interacts with the character reminds me of HZD. It's a more cinematic approach. State of decay is ok. It could me a good game if it wasn't so glitchy.

@JJ2 Kind of like a more polished up State of Decay, except with the really cool Zombie hoard gimmick. Maybe mixed with a bit of Horizon Zero Dawn.

Days Gone doesn't look like anything special so far. Kingdom Hearts 3 and RE2 for me.

Best exclusive on the PS4 easily. However I would say I enjoyed Red Dead and Celeste just a bit more. God of War was great, but God of War 3 is still the best God of War. This God of War is a one and done game for me, can't imagine it would be fun to replay because of the unskippable dialogue.
