The gameplay honestly looks really boring like most of Naughty Dogs games. I would recommend watching the story on YouTube and saving your $60 for Ghost next month.

Besides the horizon zero dawn sequel. It was a pretty good time. About time Sony actually got different kinds of 1st party games.

@Cloud39472 well I guess why have backwards compatiblility with old consoles, when you can sell the games at $60 again.

Wish they showed gameplay. The 1st one wasn't good, so I was hoping they learned their lessons and tried to make an actual good game this time.

I dont think a remake of a PS3 game is the way to get people excited for a new console. Hard pass for me.

Hopefully a new Ratchet and Clank. Insomniac has been very mediocre this gen. Please not Spiderman 2. The first one was so mediocre and generic.

@thefirst I actually beat it on my 2nd try. ( Not counting at the very beginning with no bee shield. I thought it was very fair, although I probably played way too much DKC in my days.

Dualshock 4 is probably one of the worst designed controllers ever. Seriously whoever made that controller should be fired. The original controller and dualshock 3 are still the best controllers Sony made.

Put the analog stick in the correct position. Nobody likes bending their thumbs in an unnatural way anymore.

Guys remember the PS3 and PS2 were receiving exclusives games a year after launch. It's silly to think they would stop with the PS4 after the PS5 launches. Microsoft is doing a smart move because neither the PS5 or The Series X are going to be worth buying until 2022 at the earliest.

Well Sony has had weaker shows the past few years. Not a big loss at all. Would rather see a State of Play announce the new console.

I wouldn't call a less than 5% attach rate a success honestly.

Honestly Fallen Order did the exploration and combat better than the Uncharted games. I'd even say Metroid Prime was the biggest inspiration for this game.

Hopefully Death Stranding doesn't make it on here. If the gameplay is described as tedious and it takes 10 hours for it to become good, than it fails as a game.

I'll wait til the slim model. I regret getting a PS4 so early because most of the exclusives at the time were pretty miserable.

Yooka Layle and the Impossible Lair. My goty that unfortunately didn't get the best review on this site. If you guys like Donkey Kong Country buy that game. It's easily better than 3 out of 4 games on this list.

@JJ2 Yeah Microsoft actually did pretty good at the beginning of this gen. They had like 4 exclusives at launch, even 2015 was a better year for Xbox than Sony interms of exclusives, but 2016 Sony just started releasing games, and haven't really stopped since then.

@Ralizah I remember buying A Wii U at launch thinking they were going to get scalped like the Wii. All just to play New Super Mario Bros U on an 8gb system. Sad times indeed.

It will be interesting to see if they can pass the DS or the PS2. The PS2 was more relevant when the PS3 was out. Amazing that a system with nothing to offer for the 1st 3 years has become this big.

@redd214 have you had any luck with those adapters. I would like to get a PS4 again when they are cheap just for the Kingdom Hearts collections. ( Only 3 came out on Xbox for some reason)

@Ptrack I'm sorry if I'm sounding fanboyish. I started off with a PS4 this gen. My arthritis got so bad that the PS4 controller was barely usuable. The Xbox one controller is really the only controller that doesn't hurt to use ( Besides the Wii U Gamepad). I really wish Sony would make a controller with the Stick in the correct position too.. I love my PS3, I would also like to Play PS4 titles in comfort.

So the controller is going to be just has horrible? Guess Ill be sticking with Xbox next gen too.

I think if the PS5 offering gamepass with PS4 and select PS5 titles it would work really well. Save titles like the Medievil remaster for Day 1 on gamepass, while a bigger franchise such as God of War could wait like 3 months to hit the service.

@TooBarFoo I'd imagine it's a 720p disaster on the base Xbox One. However the One X version might be the most stable of the versions.

@gamer89 I see it as a better way to give someone who likes the game a gift. This would look better than just handing someone a giftcard.

This looks good, however I can't support Activision for putting microtransactions into a kids game. Oh well back to Team Sonic Racing I go.

This is not a good game. It is way too easy and simple. They should have ported Super Monkey Ball 1 or 2. Not Deluxe because the controls were awful in that version.

Next gen will be interesting now that Nintendo isn't in a rough spot, and Microsoft doesn't seem to be shooting itself in the foot. Still this gen wasn't nearly as good as last gen. Only one console did well this gen, while all 3 did great last gen.
