@SmoothlyRough CoD is cross platform at the moment can't see that changing going forward...

Playstation has CoD until around 2028 including its current deal and the 3 years offered by MS,plenty of time to negotiate further but if CoD went exclusive at the end of the current PS deal no playstation owners would have to jump ship to play CoD,just buy a gamepass streaming stick or get the gamepass app on your TV...MS wants those gamepass subs.

@OneWingedAngel acti/blizz was up for sale and MS stepped in with the cash though right and I'm sure I read that MS weren't the first in line when it came to buying them, unethical it maybe but business is business.

Wonder If Sony will be rethinking when it comes to gamepass on PlayStation...

Activision/ blizzard have become truly awful companies over the years, hopefully the deal with ms will help them become better

I'm not sure the price of GP will increase by much in the future especially with the service(more than likely) coming to smart TVs this year and the trials of xcloud on ios are happening right now, MS are also trialing games(fortnite, apex legends plus a few more) that don't need gold to be able to play online which then makes series s a great option for families, I could see a tiered system for GP perhaps but I doubt there will be an increase in price

@QueenOfHearts38 I think that was said during the Bethesda/Ms round table a few weeks ago there was also a quick comment about whatever smart device you choose for gamepass...definitely see gp on smart TVs soon

Interesting thing about gamepass is that a good few devs have sold more copies of their games than anticipated because of them being on gamepass

Series x/s were the best selling consoles in January so it's going pretty well for MS in fairness

Not happening now and going forwards free to play games will no longer require gold to play

@Royalblues series s is cheaper than my mid range smartphone and thats really telling...like Ed boon said If you look at a company like apple their best sellers are the cheaper models se and 11

Think one thing people might be forgetting is xcloud, we all know how good xcloud is(even sony had talks with Ms about it ) and I think it's something that could be used to leverage series s after a couple or so years.

Sony a little bit quick with the denial and also they usually stay quiet when such matters arise.

Sony won't under cut MS on price because they simply don't have to.

Absolutely zero chance of Sony under cutting MS for one simple reason they don't need/have to, the disc based ps5 will be £450...unless Sony have been slow to reveal the price because they have to launch at £550.

@Carl-G make no mistake Sony and ms want to charge us 599usd for series x and ps5(disc version) but they won't/can't instead they will charge 499usd with series x at 499 Sony have a no reason to undercut ms as the ps5 will sell regardless, just unsure about the digital ps5 it could end up in a weird mid ground at around 380ish

Love me a next gimmick...now how about some concrete details regarding pricing and pre orders.

Maybe Sony will put the price and other unknowns on there too save them the hassle of actually having to announce anything

Sony spent so much money on this game they have to push it hard so people will buy it...looks a tad mediocre from what has been shown so far but fingers crossed it ends up being good

@Luna-Harmony xbox did a very close look at the console weeks and weeks ago(digital foundry) and I'm pretty sure they have a deep dive on series x in august

@Ralizah a sub 300usd lockhart with all the BC stuff and a free month or two of gamepass ultimate with project x cloud would be very tempting for a lot of people

Had a long chat with my son about it all and story wise lou2 sounds awful...still taking the leaks with a pinch of salt though

Should have released the game digital and worried about sales later this leak could a terrible effect sales when the game actually releases

Still think MS have started a new trend with their (small) tower type design and I think Sony will follow with something similar..after watching the DF teardown of series X it does seem to cool really efficiently or at least it seems that way on paper so to speak

Probably follow MS with a tower design that can also be laid down but hopefully Sony will also keep some of the design points from the dev kits

Don't play Fortnite(neither do my kids)but I am a fan the game and the events they do are very good,watched the Travis Scott event on a replay and it was brilliant.
