For tonight I cooked my first gyozas I filled them with beets, cabbage and carrots. Next time I will make the traditional pork gyoza recipe

Wow, two bot posts in this thread! Reported so they'll hopefully get removed but so weird that bots can literally find any topic, including food of all things, to write posts about with probably dodgy links attached.

Anyway, I hosted some people today and served make your own Sundaes! Went down a treat. Had ice cream, brownies, cream, sauce and sprinkles and they brought along some of their own chocolates treats to add too!

See ya!

I am quite fond of rare Steak with sauce and fries.

The chicken came out extremely tasty and tender.

@Yousef- is that an air frier or another type of frier, like a deep fat frier, that you've cooked it in? It looks crispy like deep fried, so if it is air fried that's quite impressive. Although I shall never bow to the trend of the air fryer myself.

Nice bump of a thread though, as people are from all over the world so it'd be cool to see or hear what they have cooked or eaten. (Then we can judge their worth muhahahah)

I made my favourite thing to make yesterday, purely because it makes pimping leftovers. I barely ever eat any of it hot πŸ˜‚ and that thing is:

Roasted cubed potatoes with Onion and Chorizo (cut into shape and parboiled before tossing in a little oil, UURRRBS ((Lol Americans)) and spices (((Paprika, chilli flakes, garlic powder, thyme, black pepper))) Roasting up, and part way through adding sliced onions and Chorizo, and squirting over copious amounts of balsamic glaze) (((((no idea what I'm attempting to do with the brakets tbh πŸ˜‚ oh well)))))))))))

It's yum fresh out of the oven, but it is insane kept as leftovers and eaten with Houmous!!!

When it seems you're out of luck.

@Ravix the name is kinda misleading. It’s definitely not one of those deep fryers you could’ve bought 15 something years ago. I’m not sure they even sell those anymore. No this is just an oven. Works like an oven, cooks like an oven and the food tastes like oven food. (Which is kinda why it’s not always a perfect tool for heating up stuff)

It does however crisp up food really damn well, especially when it’s properly oiled up.

I myself don’t like trends. It’s just air fryers ads sorta past the point of being a trend here in kuwait especially since they’ve been around for almost a decade and are more of a necessity blokes in small flats like yours truly. You CAN get a small oven but this is more compact and works well enough like the real thing.

I tend to prefer cooking most of my stuff on a gas stove with a proper pan but that’s noy an option for me as of the time I’m typing this.

Sounds really good! Had to look it up, but what you ate looks somewhat similar to a breakfast dish we have here called Keema that’s also meat-based, though I’m not sure if what you had was breakfast lol. You said leftovers so maybe.
That’s a great combo of spices, not a single thing I dislike there. I love spices a lot. Still need to buy a few more like turmeric, cumin, cinnamon powder then my flat will be complete.

Since I’m replying to you, I must meet my emoji quota that I forgot to type between my paragraphs so here goes: πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜πŸ€£πŸ’€πŸ˜…πŸ˜†πŸ€ͺπŸ˜±πŸ«£πŸ€”πŸ« πŸ«¨πŸ˜¬πŸ˜¬πŸ˜Ά

@Yousef- that's more like it, I'm not comfortable unless you've openly mocked me or made a veiled remark in your replies πŸ˜›πŸ˜›

I suppose it could be breakfast, if I had to call it anything it is probably most similar in style to tapas. I usually just use it as a side dish for things like Salmon or White Fish as both go great with Paprika based items. But as I say, using the leftovers with Houmous as a snack is divine, so I make way too much of it on purpose.

It is probably kind of a reworking of Patatas Bravas, minus the tomato. I don't really use recipes though, once I've learned how to cook ingredients I just veer off and do stuff that I want loosely based on other things I've made. If you take the same thing and cook up some seasononed tomatoes, canned or other, and dump that on for the final 10/15 minutes in the oven, then I guess it would be pretty much Patatas Bravas, and also flipping tasty.

When it seems you're out of luck.

@Ravix The bracket gods thank you.
