David Haye fighting at the weekend should see if him coming back is going to be worth it. I just think he is after a big money fight with Tyson Fury win or lose it would be a big payday. Fun fact its the first fight to be filmed 360 and watchable in VR (according to twitter feed)
Last night i thought I would watch the Haye fight but was also watching Fast and Furious 6. I switched over and the fight was finished and the guy was knocked out on the canvas. Your right Haye did what he needed to do. I am not sure Anthony Joshua will want to fight Haye at the moment. I do not think he is any rush for that although the public will probably want an all British fight.
I do not really watch that much boxing mostly the fights on channel 5. I refuse to pay for the box office fights because I think £15 is too much.

@tripleGK yeah The Revenant looks good and has some positive reviews. I was tempted by that and also Creed. I do not tend to go to the movies very much normally just for Marvel movies and the recent Star Wars. I tend to wait and get them sent through the post with Love film. But some movies defenatly benefit from the cinema experience.
I have ony played one UFC game and that was UFC 2010 I think that was what it was called. It ws decent enough but I found it hard once the ground game came into effect. I think its a hard element to get right because its something that is really complex.
@triplek yeah I know what you mean seems strange having Tyson in the game. Using him for punching you know he is gonna be knocing some people out
Finally watched the UFC matches. I enjoyed the Cruz Dillashaw fight but thanks to BT Sport and there poor way of programming the fight cut out before the final round so did not know who won until I just looked it up. I was surpised pettis lost I like his style of fighting but Alverz deserved the result. Brown/Mitrone fight thought that should really have been a no contest. Poking the guy in the eye twice is not acceptable. The first time you can say hey ok sorry that was a mstake but the thumb in the eye clearly effected Mitrone. did you see Mitrone eye at the end of the fight never seen swelling so bad but think that was the result of a punch.
Trinaldo did well against Pearson and deserved the result he threw some really good knees which impressed me.
Not sure if I read a news story right just now but it said Frank Bruno is coming back into boxing not sure how he would be allowed to fight given his recent past. I feel bad for the guy he has been through a lot and guess he feels lost without having boxing in his life but this is not the answer.
Off topic but Mike Tyson was in the latest Ip Man movie (Ip Man 3) if anyone's interested. If you haven't watched the trilogy yet, I would recommend the first two movies. The third one wasn't that good imo.
@wanderingbullet Mike Tyson seems to pop up in a few different places these days I saw him on an episode of Special Victims Unit. I really enjoyed the first IP Man and the second was also good. I heard there was a third movie but not seen it.

If you bought the first EA Sports UFC game and also pick up the sequel, you will be able to play as Lee right away for free. Lee can compete in the Welterweight, Bantamweight, Featherweight, and Lightweight divisions.
That's not the only way to unlock him, however. You can add Lee to your roster once you beat EA Sports UFC 2's career mode. Doing this also unlocks Mike Tyson, Bas Rutten, and Kazushi Sakuraba. Alternatively, these three characters can be obtained from day one if you preorder.

I saw that the McGregor match has been called off due to Dos Santos breaking his foot shame would have been a good fight. Not sure if they will bring in a replacement or not. They need to do something because that was a big draw for the night.
Frampton won which was a shame as I wanted Quigg to win. He started to slow and by the time he got going it was too late but he did finish strong. I like his conviction as a 14yr old he asked to be expelled from school even though he did nothing wrong because he wanted to be a boxer. That kind of drive has made him a great boxer hopefully he can carry on and regain the title at some point.
It looked like someone ate Mcgregor and replaced him. Its a lot of weight to put on in a short time lets see how he does. I would prefer Diaz to win just because Mcgregor is a bit annoying but I respect that he is a great fighter. Looking forward to fight night.
I did all the right things to avoid finding out the results of last nights fights before I watched it this afternoon. Then thanks to Bings annoying search engine that puts random sports results right in your face without you asking for it I found out the result. Will watch it over the next few days
Watched the Holly Holmes Miesha Tat fight was a decent match up and the right fighter won. Tate has a good ground game and deserved the win. The standard of the womens fights are certainly improving. I the next 5 years hopefully there will b a lot more high quality womens fighetrs in the UFC.
Nate Diazvs Mcgregor. The fight was enjoyable McGregor did not domante like he normally does and Diaz was not afrai of him. He took some punches and came back even stronger. Two things really stood out for me in the fight. How easily Mcgregor tapped out never seen anyone tap out as quickly as he did. Also Mcgregors ground game is not up to the strandard it needs to be. If more opponents can take him to the ground I think he will be beaten more. Jumping the weight classes like he did was a poor decision on his part. He took a shot and and missed. Maybe his arrogance will be a little bit less next time he builds up to a fight.
UFC 2 looks a decent game been watching it on Twitch. The ground game has changed from the first game and looks a lot simpler to execute moves. Will probably get this game with the extra characters.
