@themcnoisy Does that mean you haven't been watching our other streams?!? I'm hurt and disappointed.
No plans to stream the Doom Beta I'm afraid. It might be under an NDA anyway, which means we wouldn't be able to stream without getting @get2sammyb into trouble.
@Midzark The current theory is that for levels 1 - 4 you'll be in Brooklyn and you'll end up in Manhattan when you're pulled out by chopper, which is where the Beta started.
@Boerewors You know what? I don't think I thought about Wild once while playing Far Cry Primal, which is odd as they do share a number of elements as you pointed out.
@Comrade44 Imagine a drone that can mark the position of enemies, drop bombs packed full of bees, or even swoop down to kill unsuspecting enemies. Now imagine that drone is actually an owl.
@tenderbeefcake The armoured guys can take a lot more punishment compared to the more common enemies, but you can take them down stealthily once you unlock the right skill.
In fact, all of the stealth takedowns are exactly the same as Far Cry 4, which is a little disappointing.
@Diskach Nope, I reviewed the PlayStation 4 version. I'm afraid I can't comment as to why the screenshots are for another version of the game as I have absolutely no idea.
@kyleforrester87 It's all personal taste in the end of the day, but I appreciated that for a game set in space it didn't opt for the usual Vangelis-esque music.
There was just something about Rebel Galaxy's soundtrack that clicked for me.
There's something really funny going on with the loading times. It looks like the longer you play the worse they get.
I played for about three hours this evening and when I started load times were less than 30 seconds (I was beginning to question what I'd written about them), but when I finished reloading a challenge event took over five minutes!
@Ghouldude Firstly, welcome to the site. It's always nice to see new members of the community leaving comments.
I'm glad you enjoyed playing Zombeer on PC, but my biggest problem with the game - its crass and unfunny humour - can't be fixed by jumping to another platform.
I'm a hugely positive gamer, always looking for the good in anything I play, but I just couldn't see anything but a steaming pile of garbage after finishing Zombeer.
Also the 87% user approval rating on Steam is just mind boggling, and if that's food for thought, then the 32 it has on Metacritic for both PC and PS3 must be as well.
@SteveoKenobi That's true. I made sure I had the clean-up crews, and a few other projects built at the strongholds, however the scrap they generated wasn't enough - in my opinion - to avoid having to scavenge yourself if you wanted some of the better kit.
@themcnoisy If you don't like the Batman combat then this certainly won't be for you. Not sure if we need more games like The Order: 1886 though! It's the poster child for repetitive gameplay.
@arnoldlayne83 There's a PVP fight mode that's outside of the main game content. This has two players fighting each other if you're playing online, or up to four players if you're playing offline on the same console.
@Jocinetu @sinalefa Split screen would be a pretty good addition to the Payday 2.
I wonder if there's some technical limitation stopping them from doing it, especially when you consider that Starbreeze / Overkill have been pretty open at the compromises they would've had to make to reach 1080p / 60fps.
@Comrade44 That's a perfectly valid opinion, my preference is for games with strong single player, and a good story as well. There's just something about Payday 2 that clicked for me, even with its problems.
@Anchorsam_9 I had no issues with the netcode, however the AI still isn't very smart at all. When it comes to the police that's perfectly ok since they're fodder, but if you have any AI bots on your side they might as well not be there at all.
This means you really need to play with other players to get any enjoyment out of Payday 2.
@Comrade44 Nope, the 'single player' is just you playing the heists offline with some AI bots for company. Payday 2 is best experienced online with other players.
@sonicmeerkat I'm not go to lie to you, I did briefly slip into a vegetative state about 10 hours in. Fortunately, I was quickly given a dose of The Witcher 3, which stopped me suffering any lasting damage.

Apologies for the premature end to the stream Paragon decided to crash.That's early access for you.
Re: The Division's Launch Trailer Is Just as Predictable as You'd Expect
Oh, and I'm REALLY looking forward to getting stuck into the full game.

Re: Review: Far Cry Primal (PS4)
@godslayer1975 Thanks for stopping by to share your views. I always welcome a well thought out counterpoint argument to any of my reviews.
Re: Review: Far Cry Primal (PS4)
@Tasuki Nope, previous knowledge of Far Cry 4 isn't required.

Re: Review: Far Cry Primal (PS4)
@andreoni79 You can turn the minimap off, and there are a number of other options which make it so you can have no HUD at all.
Re: Review: Far Cry Primal (PS4)
@Quintumply Cheers mate!
Re: Review: Far Cry Primal (PS4)
@DerMeister Thanks!
You're right, there aren't many games that use the Stone Age as a setting, and certainly not in a series like Far Cry.
I would love to see - just for giggles - a bombastic, over the top Call of Duty game in this era.

@get2sammyb Thanks Sammy!
If anyone wants to ask any questions about Far Cry Primal hit me up in the comments and I'll share the knowledge.
Re: SMITE Might Be Making Its Way to the PS4 Imminently
@get2sammyb you're right I was hooked completely. My comment should be viewed as EXTREME interest in this news.
Re: SMITE Might Be Making Its Way to the PS4 Imminently
Say what now?!?!?!?

Re: Fallout 4 Patch 1.3 Details Step Out into the Irradiated Air
@Matroska Yep, I spent hours doing all of that.
Every play session I'd try it all again in the hope Nick had come back into my life. Alas, he was never to be seen again.
Re: Fallout 4 Patch 1.3 Details Step Out into the Irradiated Air
@Simon_Fitzgerald @Splat
It still hurts..... please come back Nick, I miss you.
Re: Push Share: What PS4 Screenshots Have You Been Sharing? - Issue 6
@xMEADx It's 100% my screenshot. I defy anyone who saw that while searching a post-apocalyptic toilet not to take one.
Re: Game of the Year: #1 - Bloodborne (PS4)
Bloodborne topped my own personal game of the year list as well. A worthy winner from a great year of gaming.
Re: Game of the Year: Alex's Personal PlayStation Picks
When I settled on my top five PlayStation games it felt like I'd come up with the least contraversial list ever.
Damn, were these good games though. Hopefully 2016 will be just as enjoyable.
@themcnoisy Thanks! Someone had to draw the enemy fire. I think I was pretty good at dying over and over again.
Re: Review: Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege (PS4)
Thanks for the positive feedback on the review everyone!
@themcnoisy Not having people with mics makes coordination a little more difficult, though I still enjoyed playing with silent teams quite a bit.
Also, sorry to ruin your excellent joke, but Rainbow Six is the designation of the Director of Rainbow and not how many of them there are
This Tom Clancy knowledge bomb was brought to you by a misspent youth reading his novels
Re: Hands On: Has Just Cause 3 on PS4 Blown Us Away?

Re: Review: Arcania: The Complete Tale (PlayStation 4)
@sonicmeerkat Ugh, I already reviewed that particular specimen last year on PlayStation 3. https://www.pushsquare.com/reviews/ps3/risen_3_titan_lords
I don't mind rereleases, but was anyone really clamouring for a PlayStation 4 version of Risen 3? I know I wasn't.

Re: Out This Week: Wolfenstein: The Old Blood, Ether One, Project CARS
I'll be first in line for some more Wolfenstein when it hits PSN this week. The New Order was surprisingly enjoyable and I can't wait for some more.
Re: Review: Borderlands: The Handsome Collection (PlayStation 4)
@Comrade44 Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Re: Review: Borderlands: The Handsome Collection (PlayStation 4)
@Comrade44 You certainly can, friends aren't required at all. I've enjoyed playing Borderlands plenty of times on my own in the past.
Re: Review: Borderlands: The Handsome Collection (PlayStation 4)
@sham8nix All of the DLC is on the disc except for Claptastic Voyage. You get that as part of an update the first time you load up the game.
You can safely pick up a second hand copy without worrying about someone having used up any codes.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Easter Edition 3
@DRL Great minds think alike 😀
Re: Review: Far Cry 4: Valley of the Yetis (PlayStation 4)
@chris730920 No problem. I can imagine the longer you wait to play this, the more you'll enjoy revisiting Far Cry 4's gameplay.
Re: Review: Far Cry 4: Valley of the Yetis (PlayStation 4)
@chris730920 You'll need a copy of Far Cry 4 I'm afraid, it isn't standalone.
