Don’t mind at all! Yes, it runs at 60fps with the PS5 version. Since I did encounter a few frame rate hiccups even with the PS5, I can imagine the Switch offering a lower fps.

Never got into the Minecraft craze but seeing it venture into new territory makes me want to try this one out when it comes out.

3D platformers are sorely missed and for 30 bucks can’t say I won’t check it out! I am all in for 3D platformers taking the stage again!

I am all in, showing gameplay rather than just cinematics is a bonus.

Hoping this does well and we get Gravity Rush 3.

I did not expect to like Days Gone as much as I thought I would. Thought it started okay, nothing out of this world and then by the end, I unexpectedly started to miss it. That and a yearning to start saving up for a motorcycle 🤣

@Bentleyma most definitely the gameplay aspect of a video game makes discussing the film/video game comparison more nuance. This thread would be endless if we decided to discuss it more in-depth though haha.

@Bentleyma Your comparison with a two hour film stands same case. A film has about two hours to deliver a satisfying story, if the story is mediocre/poor, would you still recommend spending 20 dollars, let alone bother to waste two hours of your time? Assuming the film is also independently made and not a Blockbuster movie.
However, I am glad that you enjoyed the game and this kind of support makes me hopeful that the developers don’t give up and see that their is potential and room to improve.

@get2sammyb Yeah, this is one of the instances Sony’s move introducing PS Plus was brilliant.

@Nightcrawler71 definitely, can’t really recommend paying the full 20 bucks even if it sounds cheap compared to the market price right now. But it’s almost like they are charging you 10 bucks for the hour.

All these recent Resident Evil iterations are starting to make Resident Evil 2002 look like a masterpiece…

Also hoping they keep the secret boss and story related how will Genesis tie up with this new story direction the franchise is taking.

@BoldAndBrash A simple port to next-gen consoles or even PC would be nice... but then again it is a PS3 title so yeah.... Maybe add to streaming with the new PS Plus?

@gbanas92 FreekStyle is as wacky as the box art looks like. Definitely check it out! Crazy flips and tricks and a tad bit unrealistic haha. Banger soundtrack. I will add MTX Mototrax to my list of motorcycle racing games to try!

@gbanas92 I actually never got around to try out the standalone ones but Superfly was one I always wanted to play. Primarily because it reminded me a lot of another title outside of the MX vs ATV franchise, FreekStyle. Which now that I am looking them up, they came out on the same year haha!

@Dr-M My favorite is Untamed just because that was the first one I played and spent a ton of hours when I was a kid. The best I have played so far is Reflex. I have yet to revisit either of them but might start soon to catch up and see how the franchise has held up until recently. Unfortunately, it seems it's scraping by...

Was looking to get back into the MX vs ATV train after Reflex but guess not. Oof

@ShogunRok A sad mess. The only DLC episodes that might have redeemed it for me, at least a bit, have now been canceled. The Ardyn episode looks okay...but the teaser clearly shows they wanted to go back and tell the story when it was promoted as Versus XIII. This, I believe, is a case where it's already too late to fix it. Ugh.

I have seen some people complain how the new and tasty remake's tweaks changed it to the point that it was not as good as the original. Therefore, it gives me more incentive to play it when it comes out for the PS Classic and see for myself if it indeed is.

This definitely looks like selling Guitar Hero without the guitar. Probably going to get it when the price is lower in either version. I also feel 50 is too much.

FFXVI will never see the light of day. If anything, I fear it might become another case of FFXV, where after years and years of cool teases, development will be rushed at the last minute and end up disappointing.

I always get addicted to these types of games. Fall, you are killing my wallet. Stop it, please. Might get it down the road.

Ma boi Spyro fo sure. Perhaps Darksiders 3 and Taiko no Tatsujin, although there will be no drums like the Japanese version for the latter
One that is getting my attention is Asterix and Obelix, never heard of it but I saw the trailer for it and just like Spyro, it reminded me how much I miss 3D platformers. Nowadays, 2D is everywhere.

@gbanas92 I feel the same if it ever came for VR, it would be nice if the entire game would be a regular third person angle but add in the VR mode as a separate thing like RE7 so that it doesn't deter people from buying it. Anyways, who knows. Hopefully, after UFC 3 we get something similar to Fight Night.
