I think the reason is that people who are now in their early to late 20's now have jobs and can afford to buy it for themselves. I'm 26 and this is the fist console I've been able to get with my money. No more relying on mom and dad to come through for us at Christmas time. We are the video gaming generation and now that we have money in our pockets, we can get what we want

If Sony makes more remakes it needs to be like the Master Chief Collection that Microsoft did. Multiple games in one package. How about the Resistance trilogy? Did that do good enough for a remake?

I loved this article. It really shows how you can have an emotional attachment to a game. I'll never forget the first time I played Persona 4 Golden. I never wanted it to end. I've played it a couple more times, but nothing compares to the first time.

I couldn't believe how great the graphics were. The cockroaches were amazingly real-looking. And yea, it definitely made me jump. I love when a game scares you silly. Way better than movies in my opinion

@MadchesterManc I couldn't agree more. And there were obviously some genres that Sony missed with the games they showed, so the people who are only in love with those genres feel jaded. Sure I didn't see much that excited me, but I'm not going to call Sony "awful" because of it. I'm sure I'll see more in the future that shows me what I'm looking for... like TGS.

I don't think it would be a problem as long as it's not the focal point of a game. You said it best; it needs to be a great game first and educational second. I liked how Persona 4 had you taking finals because it was part of the story line. It really added to immersion because I really wanted a good grade. That's the kind of stuff that works and it's rare to find a game that gets it right

I remember seeing a short video just showing off the graphics. No gameplay. That's what I'm curious about though. Until I see some gameplay I won't say I'm gonna buy it. It does look gorgeous though

@dok5555555 you beat me to it. I think they would have a huge hit on their hands if they released the original Blitz with online play. I'd buy it in a heartbeat

@drpepperdude100 dude it's the beta. It'll get better. Beta is so they can figure out where glitches are. I just had a bad one happen to me

I actually like what I've played. The new modes are refreshing because it's not the same ol' military style battles. Being cops and robbers is always something we played as a kid. I love being a getaway vehicle, pulling up and yelling at somebody with the loot to "Get in!"

Why can't we play as Nanako?! Just kidding, but I think it would be cool if Dojima got in on the action with his jacket always over his shoulder

I think it's great. A lot of people use video games to escape from the world around them and this would just help add to the immersion a lot of people search for. Of course there is a line you don't want to cross where you don't have an actual life.

As an avid golfer I'm pumped about a next gen golf game. I love the idea of designing my own course so I can't wait to try to make my masterpiece

@get2sammyb that's insane. I just can't grasp how it translated it to a legitimate musical piece. It sounded awesome, not just some random notes thrown together

I think people who have played the game would be disappointed if something other than a sequel is announced. Would Naughty Dog take that risk?

I've owned Every Madden since 2000 so I could review it if you NEED someone to do it. But in all seriousness, I'm expecting a big leap from last year's game. I got it for PS3 and PS4 and to be honest there wasn't much of a difference except that the menus ran smoother

@get2sammyb yea they just need to make sure it's somewhere close to complete though. DayZ is horrifically broken. Let's hope this game will be quite different in that aspect

I think the PS4's advantage in power might have affected some sales but the number is probably irrelevant when we're talking about 7 million sold. I'd say it's probably about the same as the number of sales affected by the DRM situation. How many Microsoft people actually jumped ship?

It blows my mind that a 9 year old would do something like that. When I was 9 that would've never crossed my mind. The kid is a hero.. Get him a key to the city

@ztpayne7 the first game was awesome.. The second game was pretty good and I haven't finished the third one. But I thought the first one was amazing because it was one of the first games to come out for the system

I've never really gotten into fighting games but I'll probably get this just because of how good it looks. And I want to play as Bruce Lee... He looked awesome

So will you be lost if you play this without playing the 3DS game?

I'm pretty close to finishing Danganronpa: THH.. What an amazing story so far. I know something crazy is coming. Can't wait to be blown away.

Silent Hill definitely caught my eye, but I have to go with Fallout... One of my favorite series with virtual reality? You might as well glue the Morpheus to my head

All I ask is that Fallout 4 uses this. Scouring the wasteland would be even more amazing

@get2sammyb I definitely don't want another FPS. There's enough if those out there. Plus I wasn't impressed with Shadow Fall. Great graphics, but just couldnt get into it. Give us something fresh, I'm definitely down for a Fallout-like RPG since we probably won't see fallout for a long time
