I’ve put about 10 hours into the PS5 version and I’ve come across some issues I don’t remember having with the PS4 version. Some really weird glitches and animations during cut scenes and I’ve had it hard crash a couple times. But other than that I’m fully enjoying getting back into the Wasteland!
It’s because ATLUS always puts out high scoring titles. SEGA buying them a few years ago was such a smart move. They have a few more titles coming out this year, so we’ll see if they repeat
I’ve been playing this series since the first Golf Club. It’s gotten better and better and I knew with 2K acquiring it it would turn into a much better product. As an avid golfer this game hits alot of shots right, and I can’t wait to see where it goes from here. It’ll always be a day one buy for me.
I played the Baldur’s Gate Dark Alliance games back in the day, but I don’t think this is the same thing. They share the same subtitle but this looks way too different. Give me the Baldur’s Gate DA games and I’ll be happy!
I recently finished this game and I absolutely loved it. The story ended up being incredible and had me itching to come back to see more. The characters and voice acting were awesome. The battles were pretty fun, but the one knock I have is that I wish there was a way you could go through the story without having to do the battles. To me it felt like grinding in order to advance in a JRPG. But overall I think 9/10 is a perfect score. Soooo good for people who love new sci-fi ideas built on top of old premises. I highly recommend it.
I just want a good madden game. I’m a life long NFL fan and I preordered Madden every year from 2000-2015, but I haven’t played it for probably 3 years. It’s the same tired formula over and over. I wish 2K could make an NFL game
@get2sammyb Normally I only chat with people that aren’t my friends using game chat and not party chat. Can you still do that with the new update? I usually don’t add someone to a party I’m in unless it’s someone I already know
@hi_drnick @get2sammyb Ken Kaniff is an alter ego of Eminem so constant negativity from someone who stole that name isn’t shocking. Just thought I’d let you know
I bought Madden on day one from 2000-2016 then finally stopped. I just couldn’t stand the repetitiveness. I bought 2019 after several months just to try it and it felt exactly the same as 2016. Played it for a bit then traded it in. I know EA has been getting an earful from the community but unfortunately that’s just a minority of who actually buys the game. The people who are super casual gamers that buy it every year are the ones who are blind to what EA is doing because they just don’t care as long as they get the updated rosters. I really hope EA listens to the more hardcore crowd and makes big changes because I’d love to get back into it one day
I know that the console itself is going to be $400-500 but I’m more concerned about how much another SSD is going to cost. Is Sony going to charge astronomical amounts like they did with the Vita? I just hope that I don’t have to save up over $1,000 before the release date because I know I’m going to need more storage
@get2sammyb Does it have a recap feature for people who didn’t play the first one or played it a long time ago? I’d like to play the second one without replaying the first one but I’d like a refresher on what happened
I got back into it after a pretty long hiatus and I’m enjoying it. Yea it’s still buggy but what Fallout game isn’t? The setting of the series keeps bringing me back, and the additions they’ve made are solid in my opinion. Nothing beats exploring the wasteland
Am I the only one who wants to remain in the dark on this one? I don’t want to know anymore about it. I want to be as surprised as possible when I play it
@OrangeBagels they are turn based RPG’s that deal with your character’s positioning on the battlefield. Some attacks can hit from close range while others are long range and can deal damage in different shapes... line, triangle, circle. They’re great games and the stories are solid. The only negative I’d say they have is that the graphics are dated but I’ve never been to worried about that
I was surprised how much I liked Sakura Wars So Long My Love on PS2. Really interesting systems. I’ll definitely give this one a try. Hopefully it gets a dub!
I’ve been having a lot of fun playing but I agree the issues are horrendous. At this point it’s become a joke with me and my friends every time an issue pops up. Thx Bethesda! Come on Bethesda! What the heck Bethesda! Bethesdaaaaaa!
So a friend sent me an article by Kotaku about what a game engine is, and it was pretty enlightening. If you want to check it out and learn a little bit, here it is! Also, PushSquare got a shoutout in it.
I feel alone, atop a mountain that no one has yet dared to climb... but I will say this loud and proud. I LIKE THIS GAME!!! That’s right folks. I’m having a blast in the wasteland. Is it picture perfect? No. Is it the smoothest running game? No. But is it fun to explore and discover new things with friends? Absolutely. I understand people aren’t happy with the product when they try to compare it to RDR2, but it’s not trying to be that. I’ll continue wandering the wasteland, so if you happen to run into me out there hit me up and we’ll explore together!
I don’t have an issue with no NPC’s. Sure all other Fallout games have them but this game is set in a totally different era and it makes sense lore wise. Plus I like how you can come across a corpse and holotapes or notes piece together a story. It’s a cool change of pace. Makes you feel more alone, like you really are the first vault dwellers to step out into the new world
I’M GONNA F’N BUY IT!!!! That’s right! I have it preordered and can’t wait! It’s an online only game anyway so what’s the big deal about a day one patch. It’s probably gonna get even bigger when they add content and I’m ok with it. I’ve had a blast with the beta and I’m gonna enjoy the real deal. Who’s with me?!!!
I’ve been playing the BETA on Xbox for over a week and I’ve been having a lot of fun with it. Yea it’s not technically impressive by any means but it’s just fun being back in the Fallout universe. Exploring is fun. Coming across special weapons and items is fun, and stumbling upon other players and helping them with the hoard of ghouls attacking them is awesome. Setting up a camp is time consuming but pretty fun. I’ll be putting a lot of time into this game
I’ve been having a ton of fun playing the BETA on Xbox. Wandering around and running into other players is pretty cool, but the coolest thing is doing missions with friends. I’m gonna sink so much time into this game
Hopefully they iron out some of the issues after the BETA, but I’m really looking forward to this. A few friends of mine already have it preordered so I can’t wait to run around the wasteland with them
@get2sammyb Yea you nailed it. The reason I like it so much is that it gives me those nerve racking moments I use to get in high school and college tournaments. I genuinely get nervous hitting some tee shots. It’s a true sim, not arcade-like like the Tiger Woods games, which I also loved back in the day
I give it two thumbs up! I’ve loved every installment and this one feels like the best. I agree it needs a little more meat in the campaign mode but they fixed a lot of problems. Playing online with friends is so much easier than the past ones. If you’re a golf fanatic like me, pick this up for sure!
I don’t want to know anything more. I wanna be in the dark until it comes out. That trailer was brilliant at giving more but explaining less. More questions than answers. Love it
How do you make a trailer for a game that we’ve all played a million times but makes me want to play it again? Like this. Man I kinda got goosebumps watching it. I love Tetris so I’m sure I’ll be getting it
I’m surprised that I’m one of the few looking forward to this. Sure it won’t be a traditional fallout experience but honestly I never played Fallout for the story. I loved exploring the wasteland and looting all of the different locations. I think this online thing could work and we still don’t know what kind of online aspect it has. We’ll see more at E3 so I’ll wait til then to pass judgement. I just want more Fallout in any form I can get it!
I’ve put so many hours in the first two Golf Clubs. Theyre awesome. I’m an avid golfer so I appreciate that they didn’t go arcade style like the Tiger Woods games even though I love those too
I got PSVR at launch and It was fun for a while but I just lost interest. The initial wonderment of how incredible the scale was was definitely worth trying. It was obvious that there were plenty of ways Sony could improve on the design and tech involved but I could tell they were onto something
@Flaming_Kaiser I played the story mode of p4D on normal and It was a little challenging. I had never played a rhythm game. In order to get the platinum you have to beat all songs on hard so that was daunting but I eventually did It. Challenging but rewarding
I mean, I guess I can understand this for people who want a pet but aren’t able to properly care for a real one. No dog park near by or live in a big city in a tiny apartment? Yea a real dog probably isn’t the best idea.
Am I the first one to mention the P3 and P5 dancing games? Man I can’t wait for some more rhythm awesomeness. The soundtracks are gonna be incredible. Y’all can have the rest, I’ll be fine with those two
Yes yes YES! Loved P4D so I can’t wait for these. And seeing the P3 characters inHD really makes me want a P3 remake. Come on Atlus, you know It would be a hit
I never played this so let me hear your opinions on It. Also, what is your opinion on the PS4 one? I heard mixed thing about It but I was intrigued when It came out
I freakin loved the the first two. Played both on vita and they’re great. The battle system is turn based with a cool twist so it was right up my alley. If you haven’t tried them before and get the chance to on PS4, do iiiiiitt!
I never played it on PS2 but I’m looking forward to the PS4 version. I’ve always heard great things about it but never wanted to dig the PS2 out of the closet. I think the remake was intended for people like me. The PS2 graphics may be tough to go back to so here’s a more polished version
