Re: 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim Sales Surpass 400,000, Still Deserves More

Cowboysfan-22

I recently finished this game and I absolutely loved it. The story ended up being incredible and had me itching to come back to see more. The characters and voice acting were awesome. The battles were pretty fun, but the one knock I have is that I wish there was a way you could go through the story without having to do the battles. To me it felt like grinding in order to advance in a JRPG. But overall I think 9/10 is a perfect score. Soooo good for people who love new sci-fi ideas built on top of old premises. I highly recommend it.

Re: August 2020 NPD: EA Sports Lands a One-Two Combo on US Game Charts

Cowboysfan-22

I bought Madden on day one from 2000-2016 then finally stopped. I just couldn’t stand the repetitiveness. I bought 2019 after several months just to try it and it felt exactly the same as 2016. Played it for a bit then traded it in. I know EA has been getting an earful from the community but unfortunately that’s just a minority of who actually buys the game. The people who are super casual gamers that buy it every year are the ones who are blind to what EA is doing because they just don’t care as long as they get the updated rosters. I really hope EA listens to the more hardcore crowd and makes big changes because I’d love to get back into it one day

Re: PS5 vs PS4: Full Tech Specs Comparison

Cowboysfan-22

I know that the console itself is going to be $400-500 but I’m more concerned about how much another SSD is going to cost. Is Sony going to charge astronomical amounts like they did with the Vita? I just hope that I don’t have to save up over $1,000 before the release date because I know I’m going to need more storage

Re: Fallout 76 Is Free to Play on PS4 This Weekend

Cowboysfan-22

I got back into it after a pretty long hiatus and I’m enjoying it. Yea it’s still buggy but what Fallout game isn’t? The setting of the series keeps bringing me back, and the additions they’ve made are solid in my opinion. Nothing beats exploring the wasteland

Re: Trails of Cold Steel 3 Trailer Shows Main Characters and Their English Voices

Cowboysfan-22

@OrangeBagels they are turn based RPG’s that deal with your character’s positioning on the battlefield. Some attacks can hit from close range while others are long range and can deal damage in different shapes... line, triangle, circle. They’re great games and the stories are solid. The only negative I’d say they have is that the graphics are dated but I’ve never been to worried about that

Re: Fallout 76 Is Getting Review Bombed by Irritated Fans

Cowboysfan-22

I feel alone, atop a mountain that no one has yet dared to climb... but I will say this loud and proud. I LIKE THIS GAME!!! That’s right folks. I’m having a blast in the wasteland. Is it picture perfect? No. Is it the smoothest running game? No. But is it fun to explore and discover new things with friends? Absolutely. I understand people aren’t happy with the product when they try to compare it to RDR2, but it’s not trying to be that. I’ll continue wandering the wasteland, so if you happen to run into me out there hit me up and we’ll explore together!

Re: Fallout 76's Gigantic Day One Patch Is Bigger Than the 45GB Game

Cowboysfan-22

I don’t have an issue with no NPC’s. Sure all other Fallout games have them but this game is set in a totally different era and it makes sense lore wise. Plus I like how you can come across a corpse and holotapes or notes piece together a story. It’s a cool change of pace. Makes you feel more alone, like you really are the first vault dwellers to step out into the new world

Re: Fallout 76's Gigantic Day One Patch Is Bigger Than the 45GB Game

Cowboysfan-22

I’M GONNA F’N BUY IT!!!! That’s right! I have it preordered and can’t wait! It’s an online only game anyway so what’s the big deal about a day one patch. It’s probably gonna get even bigger when they add content and I’m ok with it. I’ve had a blast with the beta and I’m gonna enjoy the real deal. Who’s with me?!!!

Re: Hands On: Fallout 76 PS4 Beta Has Us Worried for the Full Game

Cowboysfan-22

I’ve been playing the BETA on Xbox for over a week and I’ve been having a lot of fun with it. Yea it’s not technically impressive by any means but it’s just fun being back in the Fallout universe. Exploring is fun. Coming across special weapons and items is fun, and stumbling upon other players and helping them with the hoard of ghouls attacking them is awesome. Setting up a camp is time consuming but pretty fun. I’ll be putting a lot of time into this game

Re: Review: The Golf Club 2019 Featuring PGA Tour (PS4)

Cowboysfan-22

@get2sammyb Yea you nailed it. The reason I like it so much is that it gives me those nerve racking moments I use to get in high school and college tournaments. I genuinely get nervous hitting some tee shots. It’s a true sim, not arcade-like like the Tiger Woods games, which I also loved back in the day

Re: Review: The Golf Club 2019 Featuring PGA Tour (PS4)

Cowboysfan-22

I give it two thumbs up! I’ve loved every installment and this one feels like the best. I agree it needs a little more meat in the campaign mode but they fixed a lot of problems. Playing online with friends is so much easier than the past ones. If you’re a golf fanatic like me, pick this up for sure!

Re: Report: Fallout 76 Is Not a Traditional Single Player Role-Playing Game

Cowboysfan-22

I’m surprised that I’m one of the few looking forward to this. Sure it won’t be a traditional fallout experience but honestly I never played Fallout for the story. I loved exploring the wasteland and looting all of the different locations. I think this online thing could work and we still don’t know what kind of online aspect it has. We’ll see more at E3 so I’ll wait til then to pass judgement. I just want more Fallout in any form I can get it!

Re: Did Sony Just Patent a Next-Gen PSVR Controller?

Cowboysfan-22

I got PSVR at launch and It was fun for a while but I just lost interest. The initial wonderment of how incredible the scale was was definitely worth trying. It was obvious that there were plenty of ways Sony could improve on the design and tech involved but I could tell they were onto something

Re: Sony's Robot Dog Draws Crowds at CES 2018

Cowboysfan-22

I mean, I guess I can understand this for people who want a pet but aren’t able to properly care for a real one. No dog park near by or live in a big city in a tiny apartment? Yea a real dog probably isn’t the best idea.

Re: Guide: Upcoming PS4 Games in 2018

Cowboysfan-22

Am I the first one to mention the P3 and P5 dancing games? Man I can’t wait for some more rhythm awesomeness. The soundtracks are gonna be incredible. Y’all can have the rest, I’ll be fine with those two
