Let's hope Sony learned how to apply grips to their PRO controller. The grips on my Edge started peeling off conveniently just after the warranty period passed. Checking online revealed this to be a widespread issue.
Wound up getting one, even though there were reasons why I shouldn't. At a point in life where I can get things I want 'just because I want to'
Needed a 2nd controller anyway. Ordered on a Wednesday and it arrived Friday.
Feels really good in the hands...love the weight and balance of it. The thumb pads are something I didn't know I wanted, lol. Didn't expect to like them as much as I do. Switching back to the non-Edge may be unpleasant.
The two back buttons magnetically and satisfyingly click into place. Remapping the PS menu is something I've looked forward to for a long time. That button has always frustrated me! It's so small and recessed to boot.
The whole package screams quality and forethought.
Battery life is the main thing it gets knocked for. Shouldn't apply in my case. I've never drained any controller in one sitting. If this one dies on me I have the option of plugging in with the super long braided cord or swapping over to my original DualSense.

Also hoping for GenDesign news!
Any MGS remake would be amazing also...only been able to play Phantom Pain having no way to play PS3 gems

I played TLG at 60fps and it is beautiful. Gameplay still a bit wonky, but the cinematics are amazing
Re: Mini Review: World War Z: Aftermath (PS5) - Performance Issues Can't Stop XL Zombie Fun
Is there fun to be had in the single player campaign?
Considering giving this one a go...(not a PS+ subscriber)

Will report back after I spend more time with it.
