It'll probably be okay, but I've always really liked the PS controller design over the generations and have liked how they have stuck with it, so it's a little saddening to see it change.
Yay! Now that KHIII is out they don't really have any excuse not to show us more. I'm glad it is still slated for the PS4. I'm playing through the original on the Switch (my first time ever, don't judge - I didn't get into Sony until the PS2), and I'm really looking forward to this incredible looking remake.
What is "New Game Plus"? I haven't even completed the game's main storyline yet. I feel compelled to complete every little side quest and in Odyssey that is a massive rabbithole. lol
Also, I wonder if this might be when we're getting Discovery Tour mode? I wasn't into the series back for Origins, so I'm curious around when they released that for Origins compared to now for Odyssey?
@Tatoun As someone who has played (more like suffered) the mobile F2P game, I'd say you wouldn't get much out of it to help you figure out the ending here. The Back Cover movie included in II.8 is a lot more involved with what is talked about in the ending here. Most of the mobile game's story is filler, and while you get some neat snippets of information and some character appearances toward the end of KHIII would be familiar, it's not too substantial at this point. That doesn't mean it isn't important, but in regards to the ending of KHIII? I don't think you're missing out on too much. Just watch Back Cover.
Even still, it doesn't make much sense to me. Typical Kingdom Hearts. Lol.
It'd be incredibly hard to beat Kingdom Hearts. Shimomura is just an incredible composer. Unfortunately I am more mixed on KH3's compositions than previous games, but there's still a lot of greatness there.
@OmegaYato True, at the very least this game should expand into the Super storyline, but right now I don't know how likely that is.
They really hyped this up to be something unique, and it's just DBZ again. Nevertheless, at least it looks solid and is still more exciting for me than Jump Force. lol
I don't trust my ability to be able to get a physical copy on release day, and want this to be ready to play when I get home from work on release day, so I probably should just buy the digital copy.
I mean I work at a store and it's possible they could get the game in and I'd be able to purchase it there, but there's also a possibility they won't have it and then I'd have to start the download when I came home. I would like a physical copy, but it's just not worth that. sigh
Ugh. Well I will not be buying the DLC. From what I've seen there are multiple levels of problems here: Forcing the character to be straight and also forcing the character to have these interactions even if they say "No". It is problematic on many levels.
@FullbringIchigo I guess I just see FighterZ's style as such an advance to cel-shading graphics in general that I think that Xenoverse's style is archaic in comparison.
@glassmusic I didn't even think of that possibility. =( Darn it, I really hope not, too.
@Deadlyblack Xenoverse and FighterZ are different styles themselves, too, though. Sure they're both cel-shaded, but FighterZ is a massive step up.
I agree with others that Jump Force's style should not be used. I don't see the appeal in it at all. And I really hope the new game looks more like FighterZ than Xenoverse. FighterZ has shown how to do cel-shading.
I'm playing through Assassin's Creed Odyssey. I'm hoping to complete what I want with it before the release of Kingdom Hearts 3. It's a massive game, though. I ended up taking a like two month break from it for various reasons not related to how much I like the game, so here I am.

Re: It Sounds Like the Next Assassin's Creed Will Be All About Vikings
@AdamNovice I heard that rumor, too. However, it did seem a little too close to Ancient Greece to do a game on Ancient Rome so quickly after.
Anyway, I'm new to this series. I will have to see whether this piques my interest or not. Odyssey certainly did.

Re: Poll: Did You Buy the Resident Evil 2 Remake?
Nope, I will never touch a Resident Evil or any other zombie game. They are absolutely not my cup of tea.
