COD etc on gamepass is amazing what value for money!
Can't believe Fanboys complaining about gamepass - it's literally the best deal in gaming history, since i purchased my series x I have never bought 1 game!!!!!

They have the servers, they have the funds, they now have the studios + Developers.

there are levels and sony ain't anywhere near the level of MS, only a hand full of companies are.
MS don't want to fight sony, they don't care about sony!
MS just wants to own content and to be the premium metaverse provider.

Because I own all consoles and I like to read news regarding my playStation!
I'm completely neutral, a year ago you 100% would see me on Xbox pages complaining about games, how bad halo looked etc, but credit where credit is due and MS do listen to the players and have turned the console around, Personally I have no problem with MS wrapping up Activision, it saves me spending 80$ on any new COD/Overwatch, etc game

And like I said Microsoft doesn't care about Sony,(I wouldn't be surprised if they buy them at some point too, just for the IP's) However this isn't about burning sony, or the Xbox/ps5 console war, that is small fish, its about owning the content that powers the future metaverse.
70 Billion expensive? certainly not! actually a great deal, MS is positioning itself as the custodians of content that generations grew up on.

Sony needs to use MS cloud servers, and don't have the infrastructure or the experience to run a metaverse.
Trust me sony hasn't got a chance in the metaverse world, this buy isn't about burying sony, sony is small fish, this buy is about grabbing a massive head start by owning IPs to stop the other metaverse players like facebook,google,apple from owning these ips.
Gamepass = a big part of the the future Metaverse

its not about how much money they are making now, they own these IPs now, and with the metaverse narrative that is massive.
and also, think about it, does it really make sense to keep paying $80 for games when you can just get game pass?
COD takes up 2 slots in the PS5 most played games,For all those playstation gamers that love COD ( and there is a ***** load of PS players that love COD ) does it make sense to stick with a console that charges you $80 per game, or get COD + Halo+Forza+Starfield+skyrim+Wolfenstein+ Thousand other games for 7 bucks a month?
