Re: Poll: Should Sony Make a PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale Sequel?

Levi456

@rjejr What he said! It made no sense for Playstation characters to be fighting in a 2D environment! Similarly nonsensical is Kratos being a playable in Shovel Knight, which is a game all about 16 bit era nostalgia! I'm surprised that the poll votes for the sequel to be like Power Stone are so low. I suspect many haven't played the game. There's a Power Stone 1 & 2 collection on psp. I recommend people play it.

Re: Talking Point: Has Holiday 2016 Devalued New Games?

Levi456

I think people are saving for the consoles next year. The Switch and Scorpio. The Switch will probably launch with ports from last year (which can also be played on the go) and Scorpio will have a bunch of 4k remasters. In the meantime people are playing through their backlog.

Re: PS4 Physical Game Sales Increase As UK Industry Suffers Blow

@Wesker You're absolutely correct. It makes sense for kids to buy PC. For one parents think it's for school (which it is), their whole social life revolves around the internet and games are dirt cheap on PC. It's frustrating not being able to see quantitative console retail and digital sales numbers. Instead we're just get reports that 'This week sales were good' or 'This week sales were bad'. Why isn't the press getting hard figures for us?

Re: E3 2016: Sony Will Not Bifurcate the Market with PS4K

Levi456

Bifurcate. I'm gonna be using that word whenever possible now .

The ps4k won't bifurcate playstation consoles in the same way the DSi didn't bifurcate the DS systems. There will be some ps4k experiences only available on ps4k, similar to DSi, there will also be some enhanced features in ps4 games, similar to DSi, but for the most part current owners won't be alienated, again similar to DSi.

However, continuing with the Nintendo handheld analogy. There will likely be a next gen console within 2 years of the ps4k release, similar to DSi.
