Re: Soapbox: Poor Communication Continues to Be PSN's Biggest Problem

Lucky_SouL

Since Lizard Squad said that they stopped the DDoS yesterday, all we had to do was wait for Sony to clean things up, but as you said Sammy, people don't know what's going on. I have all the reason in the world to believe that while the DDoS has stopped, we're still dealing with that 100 people trying to get through a door thing going on. Except they are all real this time. I'm sure that a bit after PSN got up and running earlier today, word got out then... y'know.

@mitcHELLspawn He was JOKING with you. Didn't you notice the smiley face? It's practically a white flag. If you are offended by his opinion about it being dull, then you clearly have trouble accepting things. It is his opinion, and trying so hard to make him feel bad (i assume) isn't going to make him change his mind. Please stop. Don't take a joke the wrong way by nitpicking.

@LDXD Yeah, like I said, go to Oswald if they get aggressive. Now, if their dead, then that's a different story. In Dark Souls 2 I think they have a way of temporarily reviving people.

I agree, it seems so boring to play a game like that. What makes me upset is how people use Megamules. I wouldn't mind it if it didn't give you all weapons at +15...

@LDXD In the first Dark Souls, you can clear all of your sins by requesting absolution from Oswald of Carim in the first belltower after ringing the bell. I had to use it when I hit Solaire on accident in Anor Londo. I was invading and i happened to invade a hacker/modder who is a gravelord. He had infinite health and fast rolled in full havel set. This guy ran back to solaire and used the camouflage spell and turned into a vase. I threw a firebomb at him and hit Solaire too. Solaire got pissed, and I dropped my controller and let the hacker kill me. I come back, and then invaded him again, via his gravelord soapstone, killed him and got my revenge. Then I went to Oswald and Solaire was back like nothing happened. So you didn't have to kill him, there was still hope!

So yeah. Pro tips on killing hackers: make them fall off a cliff, or bleed them out. When you bleed them out, you do an insane amount of damage on them for some reason. Must be their hacked health-- there was like 7 digits of numbers when I did it.

@Shellybird27 Nah, I think it's just an understanded kind of thing. It's like money being worth something. It's just a general understanding. If we never had this understanding, a dollar is just decorated paper.

I know that Naughty Dog will make the right choice on whether or not to make a new The Last of Us. They were planning to make Jak 4 before this, and they canceled that.

Can't wait! Pre ordered it just for that amazing case! Not even gonna use those weapons that come with the pre order. Where's the fun in that? It's gonna be so awesome not knowing what happens or where to go as you progress, just like the previous Souls games. Nothing like playing a Souls game on launch. Nothing. Nothing is better than that. Sounds way more unpredictable, kinda wish I never read the article. "/

I've been "blind" up until this point excluding the network test.

Re: Wow, the PlayStation 4 Has Sold Over 5 Million Units

Lucky_SouL

I still need to get my PS4! Might have to wait until May though because it has been hinted that im getting a PS4 for my birthday. I planned to buy one on my own in March... I'll have to wait longer, but what if I do get one for my birthday? What will I do with my $400? 2 months of waiting any longer is agonizing! I will have to play it safe and save my money.

Re: Review: The Last of Us: Left Behind (PlayStation 3)

Lucky_SouL

After playing through it twice, on hard and on survivor, this dlc has everything that made the main game amazing. What I really loved is how ND gave us vague ideas as to what happened with Ellie and Riley, and when Joel was injured so that we could imagine what happened to them. Then, they give us the dlc that explained what actually happened. It doesn't seem like it costs much if you have the season pass.

Too bad the infected + hunters formula couldn't make it into the vanilla game. Had to savor those moments in the dlc.

Re: Push Rewind: Love Is in the Air, The Last of Us: Left Behind, and Lu Bu

Lucky_SouL

@rjejr Not exactly lol. My interpretation was that since they post a lot of news and stuff, (proof being how tired he is) you may miss out on some important news during the week.
So now, here is the weekly recap on Sundays, where like you said, "there isnt too much news to report".

This is really good for me since i never look further than the front page, haha.

Re: Talking Point: Is the Vita Really Dying a 'Slow, Painful Death'?

Lucky_SouL

@BlueProxy "Find out what would make people buy a vita, and do it. Just ask the people that don’t have one why not."

This ^. This is what needs to be done. Still, the answer will more than likely be the prices... it's always the prices. The price of the Vita itself, the games,(which I think is fine) and the memory cards.
