@Truee Oh it's absolutely not just PS fans. It's social media for literally everything because you can say anything with anonymity. The Obi Wan series recently had Star Wars fans going after the Reva actress personal social media accounts saying some pretty nasty stuff just because she was pretty terrible in the show. When you have massive fan bases there's always going to be some idiotic trolls so you can find examples of this for basically anything in pop culture. It's funny how you have the same people on this site who are constantly negative about everything PS wise who try and act like it's just a Playstation thing.

It took 6 years for them to make GoT so I can see why they can't work on two games at the same time. I like the Infamous games but lets be real here, you all were the same people whining the series was stale when Second Son came out and Sucker Punch needed to do something different. The insufferable negative attitude on some of you is just so weird to me. I wonder why people like IonMagi even game anymore when literally everything he posts is negative about the state of the industry.

Wonder if they're doing this so they can try to find/bait the leaker. Either that or they want to pair the announcement with some other news, like a major acquisition. I can especially see the latter if the game is being delayed so they can have some good news with the bad.

Guess the leaker was completely wrong about there being a Ragnarok SOP on the 30th. They're not going to announce a SOP on a Tuesday just two days before the actual showing.

People complaining about games like Shadow Warrior 3 leaving already do you realize it's been a part of the service since the game launched on March 1st? That means it'll be on the service 5 months when it leaves in July, the same as most GP games. It's like you people want your cake and eat it too. Maybe subscription services aren't for you if you can't beat a 6 hour game in 5 months.

Please god no. Ys Lacrimosa of Dana is one of the best JRPG's I've played in decades and the battle system is absolutely perfect. This series does not need to be ruined with tedious Souls like combat.

@OmegaStriver And you'll get that when they have their annual major show. You people really trying to act like Xbox and Nintendo are going to all these events and relaying tons of info? Because they aren't. There was nothing from Xbox this entire year before their recent event and Nintendo wasn't much better.

@Uncharted2007 They literally just had a third party showcase earlier this month and we know a first party showcase is most likely coming August or September like last year. How is this any different than the past when they just showed up to one big event a year? Even when they did go to these non E3 events nothing major was ever revealed anyway. So much complaining about nothing.

Not that I care about the Switch version, but I'm just curious how the hell this is going to run on it considering this seems to be using the FF7 Remake engine. Either the graphics are going to be massively toned down and/or it's going to be running at like 10FPS.

Imagine complaining about Sony buying exclusives after that bloated, boring mess of an Xbox show that seemed to have like 10 third party "launch" exclusives. FF has primarily been a Playstation series since it left the SNES era and most people with an Xbox don't care for JRPG's either way. It'll be on PC eventually too. It's funny how buying a studio out makes these trash exclusive practices all fine to fanboys, but funding them for exclusivity is somehow evil? Moving goal posts like always.

FF7 Remake is already on PC albeit the Epic Store and from what's been talked about by people in the business Sony wants to keep console exclusivity on FF from now on. It's definitely a port/remaster of CC.

Pretty funny how the PC crowd is whining about the new updates to these RE games because it ramped up the system requirements and the games don't run well on their old PC's anymore. Plus more importantly for most of them, the big booby mods don't work anymore. I've never understood gaming with a low end PC, just go console at that point.

It is the right approach. When you have ex Xbox execs even talking about the dangers Microsoft is pushing the industry towards you know it's not sustainable or realistic. Microsoft just wants to Spotify the industry so everything goes through them and they'll tank as much losses now if it means they control everything in the future.

The music industry is dead because of Spotify/streaming, the only way artists make money is live shows and side businesses. The gaming industry can't do any of that so their only response would be to fold or change how games are made which is why you're seeing such a live service push. To the people that say "I don't care about if its sustainable as long as it saves me money" well in the end you will care if the industry goes majority subscription and certain games stop being made because they can't justify the cost.

I find it strange that so many sites want PS to go full Gamepass route, but you never see sites pushing the same thing on Nintendo. It's like PS has to follow Xbox for some reason when it makes no sense and they're each doing fine following their own route.

@Sakisa The irony when the only game that looked great in that entire 90 minute show was the big open world Oscar bait game.

@Martsmall I said profit, nowhere in that article do they list profit. Xbox only gloats revenue which means nothing when your company is losing money and you have to fund everything from other parts of the conglomerate.

Sony already is starting to put day 1's on the service as they've already put Shadow Warrior 3 and Stray will also be there. I don't want them to put everything on the service day one because it will absolutely suffer in quality. The only great looking game in that entire bloated overlong conference was Starfield. The reality is Gamepass costs Microsoft so much money they don't even detail Xbox's profit, which means it's in the negative. People can keep subbing if they want to save money, but just don't be surprised why there's so many f2p live service games.

@IonMagi It's literally just money. MS paid for temporary exclusivity just like Yakuza. They'll be ported in less than a year. If it was a "relationship" thing why aren't the games on Switch where they would sell in boat loads?

So that's why P5 was taken off Now. MS paid for it to go on Gamepass. People who praise these streaming services can look forward to nonsense like this all the time now, it's even worse than console launch exclusive crap. Either way PS players really care? Aren't all these games available on Ps4 already?

@WallyWest Lmao "passion". Yeah there's so much passion in Xbox tanking all profits and throwing around Microsoft money so that there's a possible future where they've Spotified the industry and no one buys games anymore. Then Streaming services like Gamepass completely control the industry.

The negativity in the gaming community is so obnoxious. Some people haven't played the original and now they have a chance at the best possible way. The only issue I see is the price and that it should be cheaper.

@Oscarjpc So game delays are now lying to people lol... Also Sony absolutely never said it was going to be a launch window game. The teaser just said 2021 and then the real trailer never even mentioned a date.
