@JaysonWayne3121 the cost of producing cartridges back then was extremely expensive. To produce a CD was cheaper than a cassette tape. The first CD games should have been cheaper but they weren’t.
@nofriendo glad you enjoyed it but I found it really tedious and I played it on the PS5 ….. it does look good but I’m starting g to look back with last gen eyes once the load times kick in… still!
Yeah I get that and yes there are other options. I used to game on very expensive PC builds 15 years ago but now I can’t justify it. If returnal was 40-50 then it wouldn’t be the game it is then the people who can afford it immediately lose out. If you can’t pay the going rate then.......wait a while and don’t feel entitled is all I’m saying
Why are people complaining about the price? It was £40 - £70 for a snes game 30 years ago! £50 for nes before that. Yes it’s hardware cartridge related but the teams that made these games where minuscule. What does £70 of entertainment get you these days? Seriously? Nothing is open and if it was the cinema for a one time attendance is £8 - £9 minimum.
@ShogunRok does it still have the ridiculous soft lock at 2am day 2 where you can’t sleep? Stopped me playing I refused to use an earlier save because of bad design
Are they doing anything about the day 2 soft lock. After 9pm if you don’t have 20 real you actually need to load a old save? That is honestly pathetic game design

Re: PS Store Spring Sale Refresh Adds Another 250 PS5, PS4 Discounts
I’m really stumped with a decision on 3 games...maybe you lot can help. PS5
Watch dog legions (it’s 30fps) 50% off
AC Valhalla Gold 25% off
COD BO Cold War 30%
Hit man 3 25% off
Which offers the best ‘next gen’ experience? I have a feeling none but just need a new game for the PS5 I own all others I find interesting
