I bought Beat Sabre just because i read good things about it... when the music started up i felt i my have bought the wrong thing but i was quickly reassured by my ears and instinctive movements that i had bough the right thing...its great, i love it. I bought the green day pack, not as good as the techno stuff by a long shot and i like green day ???

Nex machina not available for me in UK, usual price of a tenner. However i did pick up "keep taking and nobody explodes" for 6 quid and while looking added "little nightmares" in basket for 3 quid...

I took a few years out of console gaming between 97 and 2013, been playing since late 70s.
I bought a 2nd hand PS3 to play this (TLoU) game that i read about in a newspaper or something.. I've not looked back since, playing this game actually made me brave enough to admit to folks that I'm a gamer... because there are good games, great games and there are amazing games, that you want to tell everyone about.
TLoU helped me realise the distinction. I'm looking forward to Friday, as is my wife so i can stop going on about it.. I've not bought it yet but hoping local supermarket will have a special offer like they sometimes do??? Happy gaming folks!

As a casual gamer who's been around a while a lot of the games were stunning to look at, really liked the variations too. HZD is one of the only games I've completed on PS4 so it's sequal is a must. All the others I'll wait and see as time passes but 1st impressions were largely 'wow' for most of them 👍

It's so different I think even non gamers will know they are looking at a games console when they see that alongside someones TV. I really like it.

I just hope it's a decent game, couldn't care less about review scores as ones man's medicine is another man's poison.. I dont care for GoW, Death Stranding, CoD, GTA and numerous other games that are huge.. Im looking forward to the game, probably buy it on 19th from local shop as I really liked the original.. I'm a bit disappointed by some comments on here that alude to spoilers and dissing others opinions or wants.. Its a game, nothing more, nothing less... Just enjoy it for what it is and enjoy the build up cos by this time next month there's gonna be something else to look forward too... Freedom? Open pubs? PS5? Etc... 😘

I don't want to know that much really, id rather wait and see myself what its all about. However, I have one Q: Is there anything stand out or new in TLOU2 that could influence future games?

@gollumb82 I agree.. Cod for me was couch coop zombies, never really done anything for me. Multilayer.. Nope, not my bag... I downloaded cod ww2 too check it out, its a blockbuster of a game, really engaging.. Back to the young chappy playing spiderman.. I was like that a few weeks ago playing beatsabre... Gaming certainly hits the spot in times of need 👌👍

Just told the wife that 19th June is off limits to my attention to anything but TLoU2.. .. I'm having a day of cereal, chocolate, crisps and snacks while enjoying NDs labour. Not one grown up conversation about shopping, bills or anything else that's 'important ' or there will be trouble...

Brilliant. I work with folks with physical disability and you'd be surprised how gaming is a big part of rehab for some. This is a sterling move by ND and what a great game to really push accessibility into mainstream 👏👏👏

@ShaiHulud i really enjoyed Days Gone and i totally agree with you. I don't get how folks love the story, it's awful. Sure some of the cut scenes are great but the game dialogue its self is abysmal... Back on topic - this game sounds fun!

My wife has no interest in gaming at all. When i just told her this story even she couldnt understand why two simulators would be released in the same month. Personally i don't really care enough to lose sleep over it. Never played them, will add to library and probably check them out at some point..

Not for me, people to see, places to go 🙄 I guess there must be some love if farming simulator made it to no3...

Been playing since late 70s and nothing can take away the nostalgia of being the first to complete an arcade game while being cheered on by your friends in the local cafe /arcade... Splatterhouse, rygar, kung foo fighter were my claims to fame. Sure games are much prettier now but the game play and the environments back then hold so many more memories than anything in recent memory.

I used to play doom and ultimate doom on ps1 which were awesome. I then played a remake on pc in 2004 which was disappointing, I picked up doom bfg edition on ps3 a year or so back for a couple of quid - also disappointing...

Thought the franchise was dead (in my eyes)..

However, this looks amazing and all the talk about doom 2016 is making me feel like I've missed out on something. I'll be watching this with interest..

One of the only ps4 games I've played to completion. I deleted it before i played the expansion as it took to much of my time.... Brilliant game but still had its faults...

I own this game but yet to instal, let alone play it. However, i have been listening to its music on spotify for a few weeks following previous stuff ive read about the soundtrack. Its a really good listen... Im looking forward to seeing how it compliments the game..

Everytime i think I'll put a bit more time into Days Gone or GOW i get sucked into They are Billions...so no particular plans besides i have a hallway to paint

Did one of them involve climbing up a train that was hanging off a cliff? If so I've played one of them once for a bit... My backlog is too big to consider the draw of uncharted.. . Ive got GOW, Days Gone and DS on the go.... I will add to library though, just in case...

Last of us on ps3 got me back into console gaming after a decade of missing out. The changes in games since i played a little on PS 2 were staggering. I've since gone on and enjoyed HZD, GOW and many others recently mentioned in the decade round up.

Looking at that chart makes me wonder about its relevance to me... I've not looked at many game charts in my years, however it is interesting reading. I think the only game on it i have interest in is starwars - fallen order. I bought DS three weeks ago, still in its cellophane...

Considering i bought PSVR this week i should be playing anything on that... However when i turned on PS i found that 'They are billions' now has campaign... Therein lies my answer.

Too many memories! I had the saturn and PlayStation within weeks of launch.. Not wealthy but always been a saver... My gaming started at swimming pool aged around 5 Yrs. The swimming bored me but the space invader cabinets mesmerised me. PlayStation took me away from Amiga at the age of 21... The speed of loading the games, the accessibility for friends who went gamers at the time and the joy of a whole new game era... The PS came with loaded a twin stick shooter with banging 'real' music and two player.. Games came thick and fast afterwards, I'd hire them, borrow them, swap them and occasionally buy them. As a few pals also had the PS 6 this was never an issue... Drunken nights smashing bells out of reach other on teken, MK, SF etc, crazy racing on wioeout, RR, demolition Derby etc... Needless to say the saturn was soon forgotten about.... Happy Times!

I discovered the PS 1 classic coasters... Very cool and it would save the misses going spare when i put my Xmas beer on the table.. I did prompt her... She called me sad...

25 years since i ordered my 1st one from toys R us, seems like last year.. .. I remember being blown away by 'loaded', 'jumping flash' and 'teken' ... I was 21 at the time, the world was at peace and the future was bright ... Video games have always been a big part of my life. When times have been tough they've helped me get through things, better than other stimulants. Thank you Sony! Happy birthday 👍

Yep, I'm in too VR now (when it arrives) the online deals pulled me in and by using a cashback site to purchase it, seems like i got the mega pack for under £170.

Hoping to finish 'A way out' with the misses. Its a cracking game and i recomend it for anyone struggling to get to grips with games.. Its been on hold since i bought it at launch but weve been chipping away at it recently. Also just discovered diamond Lake on 'Days Gone' so maybe a bit of that too, if i get a chance...

I remember being the first to complete 'Rygar' in Aldos cafe in approx 1987.. I was surrounded by friends and older boys and girls from the snooker room, drawn by cheers and encouraging shouts, as i passed the previous furthest point one of my buddies had reached. The thought of that brings a smile to my face, boy i miss those days. . Ive enjoyed completing many games in many years but never paid much attention to trophies. I get why folks do it and it must be a great feeling for them. Me? i'm just satisfied to play the games that talented folks create and (occasionaly) complete them.

I just bought this on a whim because i had a voucher which needed spending by today.. Faced with the prospect of choosing a new iron, soft furnishings, Christmas decorations, a bottle of port or a new real (not digital) game in a cover i bought this.. Not played a metal gear solid beyond the 1st one on PS and been vaguely interested in this game since discovering push square. Essentially it was a free game so it's all good i guess.. I do enjoy reading the discussions you all have about the games, better than reading news of the world falling apart... 👍

Played GTA on PS1. Played about 35 mins on GTA5 despite owning it on PS3 because i had it for free.. Amazing stats really, perhaps i should try playing it again..
