The original character design looked too much like Ellen Page. That should be obvious to anyone who can see. And I think she's in the right to be upset about them ripping off her likeness. She's an actress, which means that her likeness is literally how she makes a living.

It's also worth noting that she's not putting any blame on Johnson, as evidenced by this happening on Twitter:

I just finished the campaign at 100% last night. I was really counting on more single-player dlc.

This is easily the most fun I've had playing a single-player game in quite a while.

I like the statue, but I can only imagine how great that art book is. Maybe if the Post-Pandemic Edition included both.
