This whole review made this game sound like a total waste of money and time, then it got 5/10...?

I actually enjoyed the story...

This is a good thing in my opinion. Keeping it simple. No need to shove a load of pointless quests in with side characters I'm not bothered about. The only other character that would make sense is playing as Peter Parker if the abilities you earned in the previous game carried over to his sections. Looking forward to playing a different Spidey style with Miles!

@nessisonett Not according to my Amazon order. We're getting it on the 12th as well.

It could be that people heard how difficult it was as well and decided not to bother. That's one of the reasons I didn't opt for it. I want to have fun, not a broken controller.

Just got into Yooka-Laylee. Amazing game!

I had the £700 bundle in my basket. Was going to get everything. Went to payment screen and it had sold out. Gutted.

@DuncanMcleod The main interest of a game is to have fun I agree and for me, co-op and multiplayer aren't fun generally. Again, it is personal to want that platinum, that 100% but it does truly put me off a game if I know it's going to be a grind or I have no-one to play it with. It means finding a boosting partner etc. I much prefer it if the multiplayer and the single player are kept separate, much like the Warzone and Modern Warfare. Takes the pressure off for me. Each to their own though.

@MarcG420 That's fine, I'm all for a separate list, that I can remove from the single player list entirely. That would be fantastic.

@DuncanMcleod I enjoy hunting for trophies, I enjoy the sense of completion and I enjoy exploring parts of a game I never would have, seeing things I never would have and adopting different playstyles I never would have. To achieve this, forcing interaction with other players is a thing I could do without. Forcing me into multiplayer in what is supposed to be a single player game (Last of Us as an example) I could also do without. If it's out of my control, then I find it frustrating, not fun.

I have a 230 game backlog and it's because of things like this.

No doubt there will be a trophy that comes with it that means you'll BOTH need to be experts at the game and no less than 1000 hours of practice will do. No thanks. Leave multiplayer out of single player games. I thought we'd learnt this over the past few years. Even the latest COD doesn't have multiplayer trophies.

@AhmadSumadi Me too! Only seems to happen with MGSV...

I thought my PS4 Pro was going to take off last night when playing MGSV so I'm all for it. It looks beautiful as well. A majestic console.

It was AWESOME.

But I wanted a price.

I'll be waiting for the inevitable PS5 version.

My PS Plus was coming up in July. Thanks to ShopTo I'm sorted now until 2023! Bring on the PS5!
