Re: New Dungeon Defenders Screenshots Explode with Colour

lipnox

I love hearing about this game and its definitely a must have (my friends buying it on 360 so im going to play on his console) but anyways Im interested when this thing is supposed to come out. If I had a new game coming out it takes alot less time to update on your wiki page or website to when the game is coming out versus releasing endless trailers.

Re: Brand New PlayStation Move Heroes Screenshots Whip In

lipnox

fingers crossed this game is good, or that its cheap. oh and about the above comment, bently is in no way a favorite sony character, infact after playing sly 1 I would say bently is the Playstation version of resseti, as in he doesnt shut up. I love the game but having to hear him complaint about opening the stupid safe after I did all the work is just annoying and in no way fun, plus everyone in sly 1 talks r-e-a-l-l-y --- s-l-o-w- especially that crocodile lady.

Re: LittleBigPlanet 2's Move Update Will Bring New Levels Too

lipnox

considering people have already found ways to map the sixaxis motion to levels in LBP2 I could care less about the levels media molecule makes, and after the garbage sackboy on the move id rather play what other people make and let media molecule stick to making improvements for creators instead of trying to make levels. (ps sackboy on the move could have been fine as a 1 player game but they went and messed it up by not allowing nav controller or controller option changes.

Personally I cant wait to play endless free move games even if the pack costs me $6.

Re: Out Today: Killzone 3 Multiplayer Beta (Global)

lipnox

just saw the killzone 3 article on kotaku they confirm that the motion controls work perfectly aside from when your rushed, so move controls for snipers and assult rifles, dual shock for shotguns and submachine guns. but I have a new question, does your online rank cross over to your botzone rank for example, if I preorder it and get 24 hours all stuff unlocked will offline mode run out the clock and will the bonus apply to botzone aswell. I called sony and got no answer, this thing about all stuff unlocked will make or break the game for me, as in modern combat I feel by the time I level up high enough to get the stuff I want I probably wont feel like playing the game anymore.

Re: Out Today: Killzone 3 Multiplayer Beta (Global)

lipnox

I would love to hear how the bot mode works for anyone who has played this. In killzone 2 it had a bot mode but it was really just introduction to online, you couldnt level up anything without going online and you couldnt choose map, settings, or anything.

Re: Sony's Next Generation Portable is PlayStation Move On the Go

lipnox

when I say cross platform I mean I want to be able to play little big planet 2 at home and continue that same profile on the go. for example I play uncharted 2 and level up to 50 and get all the great gear, then at my friends house play as my lv 50 character online on the psp2 but the exact same game. I also want to be able to play against psp users on my ps3 and vice versa.

Re: Review: Modern Combat: Domination (PlayStation Network)

lipnox

only thing about the bots mode is that you cannot use red dot or scope until you hit levels 18 and beyond, you also dont level up in offline mode. if you can connect to psn atleast then you can create custom games and level up against the computer but its really annoying that I cant use red dot offline until I level up online. plus lv 1 bots only use Mp5, shotgun, and pistols which is pretty lame as they are easy to kill and in one level you can sneak out extremely easily with no effort what so ever. but the move controls work close to perfect depending on how you set them. i didnt compare my calibration but i find you want the smallest dead zone for the horizontal and the highest for the vertical, now not that exactly but fiddle around with it making sure the horizontal isnt too big and the vertical isnt too small.

Re: Out Today: Dead Space: Extraction (Global)

lipnox

I played and beat extraction today and I love it to death. definitely worth $15, honestly were it me pricing it Id say it should have been $30 and only in collectors edition. I feel like EA just gave me a free game they didnt have to, and it feels good.

Re: Out Today: Dead Space: Extraction (Global)

lipnox

@Swerd_Murd there is a PSN download version of extraction for 14.99. for any fans of lightgun games I would say extraction is probably my new favorite. I havent played enough to fully tell but seriously when there heads fly off you know its going to be one hell of a good game. Also I like how the move wand fades in and out green in the menu screen gives it the right vibe before you play.

Re: First Impressions: Ape Escape Fury! Fury!

lipnox

Tv Superstars scored better then ape escape and that game scored as a 3/10 on this website. I dont mean to offend, I just also bought the wii when it came out and ended up spending money on a lot of garbage I regret buying. just making sure people are making educated guesses, the Iwaggle3d review of the japanese demo was very positive though, aswell as gigaboots review.

Re: Review: Beat Sketcher (PlayStation Network)

lipnox

I was impressed with the game until I actually ended up playing it, though the newer demo (not the one on the starter disk) fixed most of the issues I had with moving the pointer around its still missing far too many features and giving us far too many worthless features instead.

Re: First Impressions: Ape Escape Fury! Fury!

lipnox

according to Famitsu
Ni no Kuni (DS) – 10/9/9/10
Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood (PS3/360) – 10/9/9/9
Need For Speed Hot Pursuit (PS3/360) – 9/9/9/8
Shiren the Wanderer 5 (DS) – 9/9/9/8
Donkey Kong Country Returns (Wii) – 8/8/8/8
TV Superstars (PS3) – 8/8/8/7
Kinect Animals (360) – 7/8/6/6
Ape Escape Fury! Fury! (PS3) – 7/7/7/6
Need For Speed Hot Pursuit (Wii) – 7/7/7/6
Pastel Chime Continue (PSP) – 6/7/7/7

Ape escape didnt get positive reviews where are you getting this information from? or is being the worst game of the month considered positive?

Re: Nyko Set to Support PlayStation Move with Both Barrels

lipnox

too bad it looks like the part that holds the nav controller bends making it useless for support. mind you it does look cool. perfect shot looks awesome but unless its going to add alot of weight to the handle part its also pointless unless you plan on holding the gun 2 handed like they do in resident evil games.

Re: HMV Nabs UK Exclusive on Killzone 3: Helghast Edition

lipnox

If I had endless money to throw away then I still dont think id want this. No Offence but it lets you cheat, and gives you a big hunk of plastic that will get thrown away or sold in a garage sale and it gives you a dynamic theme (worth $3 canadian, not sure how much it costs in UK) HMV was likely the only UK retailer that wanted to sell such bogus to their customers. I say this only because I am strongly against overpriced garbage being bundled with collectors edition, My Idea of a collectors edition is that every bit of DLC released in the future is free for those who own collectors edition, the rest of us Pay $10-15 per pack and end up spending more in the long run if we didnt buy collectors edition.

Re: Take on the Masters with Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12

lipnox

Im sure the boxart was generic for the xbox and playstation versions and the move logo will show up on the final product, if they honestly plan to charge extra $$$ to add move controls to each EA game then theres really no point in adding the support in the first place as we cant garantee the quality of the controls without a purchase (making renting impossible) and as shown on the wii, hardcore gamers arent going to buy motion games entirely on a gamble.

Re: New No More Heroes Shots Show Leather, Beam Swords, Gimps

lipnox

I bought this game day 1 for my wii when It came out and I truely loved it. Only downside was the freeroam aspect and the lack of any option to repeat previously completed missions. My main curiosity about this title is whether it plans on using the exact same style of controls (hold controller facing down for low attacks facing up for high attacks) and wether they've found a way to make the freeroam aspect... better. I know repeatable levels has been added in this version but thats about it when it comes to my knowledge about the game.

Re: Features: Five Move Games to Excite You in 2011

lipnox

Dead space extraction is a light gun game, No More Heroes is a Game. why in the world would you be more excited for a free add on over a full out move game. I agree deadspace extraction looks great I just dont think it deserves to be on this list. Also Little big planet 2's Move support is greatly unknown at this time it seems so we'll have to see when the game comes out what kind of support there actually is.

Im Excited to see how Dynasty Warriors 7 utilizes the Move as its a series I enjoy playing alot but have lost interest with over the years due to them essentially releasing the exact same game over and over again, some times actually removing features instead of adding them.

Re: Features: PlayStation Move Buyer's Guide

lipnox

Yeah I bought kung fu live and its honestly my favorite Motion game of all time. it doesnt work 100% but it works to a state that I can have fun and do something ive never thought possible until now.

Move games I currently own: Time Crisis Razing storm, Sports champions, Resident evil 5 gold, sly cooper if you count it. Pain, and Kung Fu Live. and ive rented all the major PS Move games.

Kung Fu Live is the comination of start the party and the fight, and honestly it combines both of those games perfectly.

Re: Features: PlayStation Move Buyer's Guide

lipnox

The UK version of the fight supports dual shock and 1 move wand and even on the UK box says 2 ways to play (1 wand 1 controller or 2 wands). For what ever reason the dual shock controller option was left out of the US version. Heres a Review Mentioning the alternate Controller Option http://sarcasticgamer.com/wp/index.php/2010/11/sg-review-the-fight-lights-out.html

Here is a topic I created when the game was released on gamefaqs (its long been locked) but I tried to get down to the bottom of the dual shock support and incase your wondering I am from canada, so my games are in the same region as in the States. http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/997877-the-fight-lights-out/57121714

If im wrong and you live in the UK and own the Fight and it really does not work at all like the review and people in that topic state then id love to know. (as you can guess by the topic, its something that bothered me when it was first released)

By the way I love this website its amazing but honestly a Ps3 Buyers guide is one thing but when you call it a Move Buyers guide, I expect the games on the list to well use my new controller. someone reading this briefly might say okay NBA 2k11 will use my move wand and its a recommend buy for the move according to this website. imagine how annoyed they will be to find they spent $60 on a basket ball game and it has essentially no move support what so ever, exact same story with sly cooper. I can do way more with my move wand in kung-fu live then in 1/3rd of this MOVE buyers guide and you wont even review the thing, when comparing to sly cooper, I think every ps3 game should be considered move compatable. during the loading screens you try to find an achievement that starts with A then B etc. before the screen loads (way more fun then sly cooper move mini games) honestly.
