Re: Out Today: PlayStation Move Heroes (North America)

cant spell IGNorant without IGN they also dont put the price point in consideration when posting review scores, as this game is only $40 compared to the kinect games at $50 and compared to regular games at $60.

they also dont punish games who try to charge $70 like fable 3 did.

Re: Out Today: PlayStation Move Heroes (North America)

I meant the game should offer dual shock as an alternative to Move, the sixaxis controls in the dual shock will be more then capable of handling the bowling and frisby games and the other games the weapon could be controlled with the right stick.

Re: Killzone 3 On Kinect Makes Great Case for Buttons

lipnox

@autogolazzo I blame sony for not updating the camera, there wasnt anything for playstation to do with the camera til move except video chat so why cant we get an HD camera that can better track stuff. I can see the smallest details perfectly on my screen but Playstation cant see them at all making the camera the only fault of move, and the camera the only thing kinect did right but at the same time missing the core component the controller.

Basically I would have been much happier spending an extra $30 on a better camera then on my nav controller or on the sharp shooter. I love the move but I might as well be playing in the dark because it doesnt seem to help the PS eye either way. (to be fair grand turismo 5 PS eye feature worked great for me, and I still cant figure out why it doesnt work in the fight or in eye pet. I wiggled my finger for what felt like a day and that pet didnt do anything, by the time the stupid creature responded to me I was already ejecting the disk.

Re: Dynasty Warriors 7 Does Not Support PlayStation Move

lipnox

well I didnt expect the move controls to be much, it still would have been a fun alternative. Though I admit knowing Koei Move support might be added in the Empires edition along with everything else missing from dynasty warriors 7. I havent played the game though, and Ive heard its awesome so dont take my comments too seriously im only basing my thoughts on previous installments.

Re: Move and 3D Being Considered for Battlefield 3

lipnox

Unless the game is more adventure(portal 2), or rpg(Elder Scrolls Skyrim) based or features Duke Nukem, im pretty much sold on move being my only choice for action based FPS games. I admit Ive not enjoyed an FPS as much as I did on Killzone 3 since playing the conduit on the wii acouple years back.

Re: Move Controls in BioShock Infinite "Would Cheat Gamers"

lipnox

Why in the world would you make bioshock with Move controls and instead of using the move controller to point, you shake it to make choices? does this guy even know what hes talking about, ive never played a fps on wii or move that required me to shake to make choices instead of aim. plus he works for EA and EA are the masters of leaving us feel cheated, for an example check the need for speed hot pursuit dlc, $5 for cars that should be in the game already, $10 for modes that should have been in, and on top of that they charge you to even access online if you didnt buy the game new. Leaving move controls out of Bioshock with such a poor excuse, with a rather negative comment about move in battle field 3 makes me feel cheated if I were to buy bioshock.

Plus to be fair while system shock and bioshock were awesome, I think bioshock 2 was a fail and I doubt the next game will do much new, though I admit the trailer looked nice I feel like they're just borrowing ideas from there previous successes and hoping for the best. Also just to add, considering how weak bioshock 2 multiplayer features were I feel bioshock is used to leaving fans feeling cheated.

Re: PlayStation Move Heroes Demo Really Is Out Now

lipnox

only today did I, its decent and fun, but the camera control feels a bit weird and the move controls are pretty basic in most cases. I hope there are more mini games in the full version because I could see myself owning this game after the demo.

Re: Out Today: Friday 18th March 2011 (Europe)

lipnox

i was kidding, I couldnt afford 3 games in one month if I tried. I might get a blockbuster game pass (unlimited rentals for a month) next month and catch up on the move titles Ive missed out on. Honestly though Dance on broadway could be an awesome game for the right people(not me), but I doubt my fitness coach is any good(based on the fact I bought wii fit and it was horrible, so I just shutdown all yoga games).

I meant more that it was disapointing to see 3 brand new move games and not one of them interest me what so ever.

Re: Sony: "We Wouldn't Ditch Traditional Controllers"

lipnox

Im really glad to have the navigation controller but I used move and beat resident evil 5 no problem with the dual shock, I just felt since I was buying Killzone 3, I might aswell have the nav controller. if sony discontinues move without proper continuous games then I just wont buy any new video games and go pure retro. IE I had an xbox 1 and im bored of FPS games using the sticks, publishers only seem to make fps games, so give me motion controls or give me more variety in games, the Non Move games I think that did it right (over the past year) Red Dead Redemption, Littlebigplanet 2(its not a move game yet), and Mass Effect 2. I shouldnt be playing the sly cooper trilogy as if it were the biggest game to come out during the pre christmas holidays. Though sony offers tons of variety 3rd party publishers like activision dont.

Re: Out Today: PlayStation Move Heroes Demo (North America)

lipnox

PSN store updates tuesdays for NA and wednesdays for EU, its thursday so I would expect it to be online by now. if anyone has seen it on the ps store please let us know I wont be able to check until the weekend. I can confirm that the mortal kombat demo will be on plus for only a week and everyone will get a chance to download it on the 15th, but perhaps PS move heroes didnt do something similar or perhaps the demo wont be coming out right away for regular users.

Re: Meet the PlayStation Move Heroes: Sly Cooper and Bentley

lipnox

9 paragraphs of text that should have instead been a link to the sly collection review, 2 paragraphs of text mentioning playstation move heroes news already posted to the main page several times recently with no mention in any of them whats included in the demo. I dont see what I misinterpreted. if you want to talk more about a ps2 game ported 2 ps3 with essentially no move controls then I dont see why you need to post it as news it would have done better as a forum topic. plus I find it strange you post this without warning about spoilers as you essentially cover the entire story of all 3 games. oh and that demo mentioned on the final paragraph suposively doesnt exist and wasnt listed as part of the most recent psn update.

Re: Talking Point: Should Move Controls Become the FPS Standard?

lipnox

I think it should be optional for every FPS and TPS. and i think it would be cool to see the same implementation that was done for that lab rat game in contra styled games, last i think it would be awesome if they would let you customize all ps3 games with move controls, like for example taking the killzone 3 control scheme and adding it to every fps already released(like pregame customize all buttons or something) part of the reason I say this is because half life 2 is fully playable with a wii mote on the pc. some people dont like move controls and thats fine but I dont see why I cant have a generic way of implementing some sort of move control into every game. I find the best example of this concept is smash bros brawl and the conduit. give the player the choice in how they want to use there controller is something all move games should include.

Re: Zipper Lets Fly with SOCOM 4 Beta Details

lipnox

does the beta have an offline component or online only? if its online only I am more then willing to trade my code for something else to anyone on here who might want it since my internet is to slow for online play(I can download stuff at my friends)

Re: Third-Party Move Controllers On the Way in April

lipnox

these controllers look like complete trash, and im not even trying to be mean they seriously look like a cheap kids game karaoke microphone controller. Also sony deactivates 3rd party controllers randomly so they no longer work with ps3 so these controllers are an even larger gamble. I wouldn't pay more then $15 for the pair, and thats assuming it has a rechargeable battery and not double AA's
